Caananland Is Just In Sight -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Early this morning, I had this dream. I was at a church, in social hall. It was springtime, and there was plenty of food on table. Many people were gathered to eat...young, middle age, and old. They were all dressed well. The pastor stood up and said, "I'm going to ask LORD to bless food. I'll pray and then someone down at end (where I was sitting) can pray." He prayed, and then a woman sitting by me tried to get these words out "the effectual fervent prayer" but could not. I then stated "THE EFFECTUAL FERVENT PRAYER OF A RIGHTEOUS MAN AVAILETH MUCH". As soon as I said these words, a man nearby, fell to ground. He was on his back looking up. He had his hands raised and was praising LORD.

The word “substance” is important when considering concept of faith. Faith by itself can be arrogant. Faith coupled with love is powerful. Faith mixed with patience and love and connected to Word (Jesus) is life changing. Faith is merely trusting in God, no matter what comes my way. But, faith is only a channel through which God blesses me. Faith always has an object. The object of believer’s faith is Jesus Christ. You see if I harp too much on faith, believers might get impression that faith stands alone. They might think that faith itself is God, and it is not. It is only my connection to God through Jesus Christ my Lord. And this is important. Know this also, I can’t release “faith” unless Spirit of God moves through me. I choose to release my faith in God by help of Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is sent from Father and Son to help me. He helps me pray. He helps me see clearly path before me. He helps me trust God through everything. You see if I elevate faith above
