But, God Remembered NoahWritten by Dot McGinnis
But, God Remembered NoahGod instructed Noah to build an ark, because He was going to destroy earth. Noah did all that Lord required of Him. Then, Lord shut Noah in ark. Noah was 'shut in will of God'. Then, in due season, "God remembered Noah." Genesis 6-8 When God places us somewhere, even though we often feel as if we've been forgotten by Him, He remembers exactly where He's put us. And He will, at proper time, in due season, remember us; just as He did Noah. Oh, God, may I always be patient and wait for your perfect timing in my life and be comforted in knowing that you will never forget where you've placed me. Just because I don't see you moving in my life right now, Lord, doesn't mean that You're not.

But Zipporah ...Exodus 4:24-25 24 At a lodging place on way, LORD met {Moses} [1] and was about to kill him. 25 But Zipporah ... 25 But Zipporah ... Before Moses and Zipporah could reach land of Goshen, where his ministry as a leader was to begin, they, not just he, had to first pass through wilderness of Paran and Shur. Zipporah, it appears, intervened. This suggests to me that wives of men, who are to be used mightily of Lord, will also have their day in wilderness; because of their husbands calling. Because God had called Moses to do a job and because Moses had accepted that call, both Moses' wife and son would have to suffer and make sacrifices. The cutting away of Moses' son's foreskin symbolizes removal of a part of his life. There was going to be a part of his son's life that would be taken away from him, that would not have been taken away had Moses remained in Midian. However, Midian means "contention" or "judgment" and, if Moses had remained in Midian, he would have always been torn; and would have struggled within himself to realize that he had resisted call of God.
