Born, Again!

Born, Again!

Endeavouring to keeprepparttar unity ofrepparttar 147161 Spirit inrepparttar 147162 bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Ephes. 4:3-6

1.) Inrepparttar 147163 beginning, our beginning, everything God makes is good. As infants, we are known for being precious, full of promise; equipped withrepparttar 147164 purest heart of love. As toddlers, our confidence is so steady that we'll run and jump into daddy's arms. And, as preschoolers, we believe everything our parents tell us; with faith unquenchable.

Then beginsrepparttar 147165 schooling years, and junk happens. The world isn't filled with love, Santa isn't real, and there are zillions of man made rules. So, maybe, all things are necessary (the good, repparttar 147166 bad, andrepparttar 147167 ugly) in order to bring us to a place of realizing our need for God.

2.) That perfection is restored with a second birth; atrepparttar 147168 point of Salvation. Our hearts are again filled with love, we want to run and tellrepparttar 147169 world about our loving Father, and everything about Jesus is awesome!

Only, repparttar 147170 years of religious training begins, and junk happens. The church isn't filled with love, our Father's love is said to be conditional, and there are zillions of doctrines of men. So, all things are for our sakes; in order for us to realizerepparttar 147171 need to seek truth, to replace allrepparttar 147172 lies Satan planted and restore us torepparttar 147173 perfection of heart that God originally created.

I've heard said that it began atrepparttar 147174 fall, when Satan convinced us God could no longer receive us ... and thatrepparttar 147175 purpose of us being here is to discover, all over again, Who God is, Whose we are, and who we are (Three baptisms? Yes.). But also, in this time, what I have discovered is that, repparttar 147176 moment we believe a lie, we have granted Satan permission to enter. Then, from that point forward, he begins building lie upon lie until our love, confidence, and faith is everywhere butrepparttar 147177 perfection God intended.

3.) If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. 1 Cor. 15:19 And so, one more time, for our sake, "ye must be born, again," (return torepparttar 147178 heart, confidence, and faith of a child) to enter intorepparttar 147179 Kingdom of God, Mark 10:15, John 3:3. For it's not in what you know, but who you know, Romans 14:17.

Thus, we personally experience three baptisms in one, three times; ofrepparttar 147180 Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Perhaps it can be described as 1.) birth, 2.) new birth, and 3.) rebirth ... not unlikerepparttar 147181 process of becoming a butterfly.

But, as we grow in knowledge, we discover Jesus isrepparttar 147182 same yesterday, today, and forever and God is no respecter of persons. Thus, withinrepparttar 147183 Bible are three baptisms; getting to knowrepparttar 147184 Father, Son, and Holy Ghost ... which counts to be six baptisms. However, only three of them happen atrepparttar 147185 same time (these three are one baptism). For there are three that bear record in heaven, (1)repparttar 147186 Father, (2)repparttar 147187 Word, and (3)repparttar 147188 Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 1 John 5:7

And there are three that bear witness in earth, (4)repparttar 147189 spirit, and (5)repparttar 147190 water, and (6)repparttar 147191 blood: and these three agree in one. 1 John 5:8 Both are allrepparttar 147192 same baptism;repparttar 147193 first restoration happening all at once ...repparttar 147194 second restoration a process.

God wasrepparttar 147195 God of Salvation even before Jesus came, Psalm 68:20, and a God of grace (Titus 2:11). But, somewhere alongrepparttar 147196 way, people lost their way and it took Jesus before they could believe God could ever receive them again. And, here we are, again; many awaiting Jesus to come rescue us instead of having learned by His example.

Be at Rest

~ Be at Rest ~

(suggested midi - Have I Told You, Lately, That I Love You?)

And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest. Psalm 55:6

I sleep, but my heart waketh: it isrepparttar voice of my beloved that knocketh, saying, Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled: for my head is filled with dew, and my locks withrepparttar 147160 drops ofrepparttar 147161 night. Song 5:2

The Lord did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye wererepparttar 147162 fewest of all people: Know therefore thatrepparttar 147163 Lord thy God, he is God,repparttar 147164 faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations; And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also blessrepparttar 147165 fruit of thy womb, andrepparttar 147166 fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, repparttar 147167 increase of thy kine, andrepparttar 147168 flocks of thy sheep, inrepparttar 147169 land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee. Andrepparttar 147170 Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, andrepparttar 147171 heart of thy seed, to loverepparttar 147172 Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

The Lord preserveth all them that love him: but allrepparttar 147173 wicked will he destroy. Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live. Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline fromrepparttar 147174 words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom isrepparttar 147175 principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee. Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; andrepparttar 147176 years of thy life shall be many. I have taught thee inrepparttar 147177 way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths. When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble. Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life. Let her be asrepparttar 147178 loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love.
