The Bitterroot Valley, approximately 96 miles long and 20 miles wide at mid-valley, wasrepparttar ancestral home ofrepparttar 134131 Salish (Flathead) Indian tribe long beforerepparttar 134132 white man ever set foot inrepparttar 134133 valley. The Indians gathered and aterepparttar 134134 starchy root ofrepparttar 134135 succulent Bitterroot plant. The small pink blossoms of this plant promptedrepparttar 134136 naming ofrepparttar 134137 Bitterroot River and surrounding mountains and earned further prominence by becomingrepparttar 134138 Montana State Flower. The first white men came torepparttar 134139 valley on September 4, 1805 whenrepparttar 134140 Lewis & Clark expedition enteredrepparttar 134141 valley near Lost Trail Pass. Approachingrepparttar 134142 present day location of Sula, repparttar 134143 expedition met a party of Salish Indians. Captain Clark wrote "These people received us friendly. I wasrepparttar 134144 first white man onrepparttar 134145 water of this river." The expedition camped at Traveler's Rest atrepparttar 134146 mouth of Lolo Creek before venturing overrepparttar 134147 Bitterroot Mountain Range on their way torepparttar 134148 Pacific.

Top Ten Reasons To Pick A Vacation Rental By David Leonhardt

We are planning a family trip for just a few days. That is my family, my brother's family, and my other brother's family. Our mother will be joining us, too. That makes four households, seven adults and six children all under three years old. Praise to my brave (foolish?) wife who has somehow volunteered to coordinaterepparttar arrangements.

Even reserving months in advance, we were unable to get four rooms adjoining atrepparttar 134130 motel, all withrepparttar 134131 right view and onrepparttar 134132 right level. If we were going for longer, we would probably rent a house as we have done before. There are vacation rentals in almost every corner ofrepparttar 134133 world, but they are particularly common in high-tourist areas like Florida, California andrepparttar 134134 Mediterranean countries.

Here is my top ten list of why a family should pick a vacation rental (and specifically a vacation rental home):

1.Not toiling to find ideal, adjoining rooms. 2.Everybody gets privacy, without having to worry about whererepparttar 134135 kids are. 3.You don't have to sharerepparttar 134136 common area with strangers, but you can still lounge around together.
