| | What is Hyaluronic AcidWritten by Skin Care Innovation
Hyaluronic acid naturally distributed throughout human body where, among other noteworthy properties, it holds water in intercellular matrix of dermal connective tissue and contributes to elasticity of skin. This state-of-the-art property can hold many more times its own weight. As we age, however, skins hyaluronic acid content diminishes, resulting in a loss of viscoelasticity in skin that appears visibly as wringles. Logic presents itself then that a crème or lotion that delivers hyaluronic acid to surface of skin would help moisturize and restore elasticity and thereby minimize appearance of wrinkles.
