Begun, The Browser Wars have

Written by Daniel Robson

As Mozilla Firefox nears 10% market share, with well over 25 million downloads direct fromrepparttar makers website, and goodness knows how many through other sources, Microsoft announces that it will be releasing IE 7 ahead of schedule. Originally scheduled for release with Microsoft’s new Longhorn operating system in 2006, it seems that Microsoft are reacting torepparttar 118406 run away success that Firefox has had overrepparttar 118407 last few months. But is Microsoft’s announcement just a response to Firefox’s success, or is it truly a commitment byrepparttar 118408 software giant to improverepparttar 118409 browsing experience ofrepparttar 118410 masses?

I’m going to make no secret about it; I am a Firefox user first and foremost. Ever since I first looked at Firefox and sawrepparttar 118411 features such as power tabbing, proper support for Internet standards andrepparttar 118412 integrated search bar, I’ve been in love with this browser. To me Internet Explorer has not a patch onrepparttar 118413 competition, and without a major update soon will surely fall behind. When Microsoft announced their plans to bring forward Internet Explorer 7 I was very interested in what they had to offer. Competition isrepparttar 118414 life-blood of progress, and if Microsoft were to seriously invest in their browser it would be of great advantage to Internet users as a whole. Unfortunately, I was disappointed at what emerged. It seems that all Microsoft are doing is making some nebulous claims as to ‘increasingrepparttar 118415 security’ of their browser. No mention of tabbing, increased standards support or any ofrepparttar 118416 other features of Firefox which IE are sorely lacking. To me it seems that all Microsoft’s latest release aims to do is distract people in an attempt to out-hype Firefox.

OhLaLaVilla Opens Its Doors

Written by Sid Zombay

(California) February 14, 2005 – After a long and sometimes difficult introduction torepparttar online medium, unique live video chat and babes site, www.OhLaLaVilla.com, has arrived.

Originally slated to be launched under another name early in 2004,repparttar 118405 site was delayed, as webmaster David Snyder explains, by "incompetence and dishonesty we have met alongrepparttar 118406 way."

When OhLaLaVilla owner Smilax, LLC foundrepparttar 118407 live video chat solution created by 2much.net, LiveCamNetwork 1.9, it seemed all was fine, with a new name and launch date set for December 1st last year.

"Then we got hit byrepparttar 118408 logic bombs and nobody could do business," said 2much.net Media and Communications manager Greg Jones. "I felt bad, after all they went through before us."

The problems were soon fixed, however, andrepparttar 118409 Smilax team forged ahead with their ambitious project, headed by a reknowned photographer who prefers to remain nameless to allowrepparttar 118410 online project to make it on its own merits.

Snyder is confident OhLaLaVilla hasrepparttar 118411 makings of a big hit. "This is elite-tier content produced withrepparttar 118412 highest quality available," he said.

Smilax, LLC's famous photographer has worked for and with many ofrepparttar 118413 industry's most recognized adult companies, such as Penthouse and Playboy, and boasts a portfolio that's graced most major magazines, repparttar 118414 publication of best selling photo books, directing soft-core video and film productions, as well as creating calendars, posters and more. The Internet isrepparttar 118415 next logical step for an artist who has covered every pre-web medium available.

Rather than gamble on another big launch, OhLaLaVilla simply went online and presentedrepparttar 118416 website to webmaster and surfing publics with little fanfare, confident inrepparttar 118417 fact that it's more than your average live video chat site.
