Become your own Guru By Linda Landry (c)

I have been an Internet 'marketeer' now for nearly a year. One ofrepparttar first things I learned was there were a lot of people willing to tell you how to make money onrepparttar 123612 net. I would get lost in cyber space because I was redirected to sites offering to tell me how to become rich with little or no money to invest. It was usually an E-book they were selling. I purchased a few and I learned some things but mostly thatrepparttar 123613 way to become rich was to sell their information. I did a lot of exploring and tried a lot of things to promote my site. I didrepparttar 123614 FAA,repparttar 123615 safe lists, I paid for opt in mailings, I did banners, link exchanges and passed out flyers and business cards. With all of this I learned that everyone onrepparttar 123616 net has a way to promote that will seemingly make you rich. I became familiar withrepparttar 123617 names ofrepparttar 123618 Guru's. I learned from them but what I learned that seems to berepparttar 123619 most important, is that making money onrepparttar 123620 net is not an overnight success. It is a learning process or a try and then try again. I learned that I cannot stop exploring and I cannot expect that I will know everything there is to know by listening to Guru's. In that sense, I have begun to become my own Guru. I know things now I did not know one year ago. I have learned what works a little, what works a lot and what works NOT! First and foremost, I have learned what works for me and what I feel comfortable doing. I enjoy trading links, I like making banners and post them when it is economical and I like publishing

Absence Makes The Fear Go Yonder!

Emotions are controlled by a combination of reason and action. Man isrepparttar only member ofrepparttar 123611 animal kingdom that can controlrepparttar 123612 emotions he experiences on a day to day basis. But, inrepparttar 123613 negative antagonistic environment we live in, you will need a good healthy dose of something to turn your water into wine.

Have you ever heardrepparttar 123614 saying, "A rolling stone gathers no moss?" Very true not only for a rock, but for you and I also. Let me explain. The longer we dwell on somethingrepparttar 123615 more emotions, involving that situation, are digging their roots down deep inside of us.

The deeper those roots gorepparttar 123616 more strangle hold they have on our thinking and ultimately, our actions. Have you ever experienced this? You are going through a painful situation, your brain is like a speeding bullet, fear has surrounded you, and you're up to your neck in alligators?

Now what do you do? You begin to analyze every possible way to deliver yourself, and, with every idea that comes, you shoot it down. Sound familiar?

A Penny For Your Thoughts!

I know; that's just about all you think your solutions are worth. But, maybe you're just trying to changerepparttar 123617 wrong flat tire. Now stay with me. You see, repparttar 123618 "problem" you are trying to solve, may berepparttar 123619 hardest pathway to your solution. Much ofrepparttar 123620 time, a problem will disappear faster if we take ourselves away fromrepparttar 123621 problem.

Why, because we left it alone? Oh no. It's because inrepparttar 123622 heat ofrepparttar 123623 battle, atrepparttar 123624 moment of decision, your reasoning is not going to make good decisions. And, granted, repparttar 123625 problem needs solving. But, remember, repparttar 123626 longer you dwell onrepparttar 123627 problem, repparttar 123628 morerepparttar 123629 problem stays in front of your mind. Someone said, "I can't take my mind offrepparttar 123630 problem; it has to be dealt with." Says Who? Or Whom, if you prefer.

How do you know, when you're all wound up inside, and just one step away from falling inrepparttar 123631 bottomless pit, how to deal with it anyway? You ever heard this? "Love comes around when you're busy doing things you like?" Well guess what? Solutions are a lot like that too.

I'm Flying This Coop!

As long as you are going to spend enormous amounts of energy to solverepparttar 123632 problem, you're going to findrepparttar 123633 problem hanging on you like a stink on a skunk. Get out of there. Go do something you like. Make yourself absent andrepparttar 123634 fear will go yonder.

You won't know why or even care. All you'll know is; you feel more in control, you feel more confident, you'll feel like your elevator is no longer stuck between floors, and you'll be mentally ready to giverepparttar 123635 problemrepparttar 123636 boot.

The problem will still be there when you get back. I know you didn't want to hear that, but it will. Why do we do this? Because, most likely, you are not going to be able to seerepparttar 123637 problem until you make sure you're not part ofrepparttar 123638 problem and making it worse.

Sometimes we have to make ourselves absent from a situation in order to seerepparttar 123639 situation. The best answers always come whenrepparttar 123640 mind is calm and relaxed.

Your solution is as close as your breath. It might not come as immediately as you want it, and it might be harder than Chinese algebra to solve it, but, repparttar 123641 sooner you make yourself absent emotionally and, sometimes physically helps, repparttar 123642 sooner you'll begin to noticerepparttar 123643 hoot and holler is about to come.
