Are These People Putting You In Danger Of Eternal Hell Fire?

Written by David Hopkins

Most people put a lot of effort into being like others around them. We also tend to followrepparttar thoughts or opinions of society threw television, movies, books andrepparttar 126454 internet. People just have a natural tendency to just want to fit in.

But, as believers we are under particular scrutiny, especially by people who do not share our faith.

We should be Holy because we should reflect God's character, He is our heavenly father, He has created us, He has chosen us as His own, therefore we should be Holy because He wants us to be like Him.

So instead of trying to fit into society we should be concentrating our efforts on fitting into God's plan and likewise getting others to fit into His plan as well.

1st Corinthians 10:31-32 "Therefore whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all torepparttar 126455 glory of God. Give no offence, either torepparttar 126456 Jews, or torepparttar 126457 Greeks, or torepparttar 126458 church of God."

God wants us to take seriouslyrepparttar 126459 privilege of representing Christ in our homes, communities, and workplaces.

Butrepparttar 126460 question is why are we more likely to be more concerned about what others might think or say about us if we stand up for God in these situations?

What we lack in most cases is a healthy fear of God. This fear ofrepparttar 126461 Lord would enable us to resist sin as well as riskrepparttar 126462 wrath and ridicule ofrepparttar 126463 unbelievers andrepparttar 126464 wicked who take up most ofrepparttar 126465 common views in our society, which are contrary to what we believe.

That fear ofrepparttar 126466 lord will give us courage, direction, and motivation to make tough choices and live with Godly behavior despiterepparttar 126467 consequences brought to us byrepparttar 126468 wicked.

We know from scripture that God is a God of love who shows mercy to sinners butrepparttar 126469 book of psalms indicates that He hates people who commit iniquity and wickedness.

God definitely gets angry at sin that injures and destroys His creation, but God's righteousness is not a fit of anger. It is rather a carefully considered application of a just disapproval and penalty against wrong doing.

In fact if you give up sin torepparttar 126470 best of your abilityrepparttar 126471 lord will honor your prayer's more, show you more miracles, and bless you more often than not.

Isaiah 59:1-2 "Behold, repparttar 126472 LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

Is Your Pursuit of Money Robbing You Of Complete Fulfillment?

Do you think it's acceptable for people to make millions of dollars selling us and our kids onrepparttar idea that pre-marital sex, adultery, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, selfish ambitions, drunkenness and things of this sort are O.K.?

I thought not, but these arerepparttar 126453 things we are most likely to see on T.V. The new reality show craze is even causing society to take a passive and some times condoning look at sin, while making big bucks inrepparttar 126454 process.

Proverbs 12:14 - There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, butrepparttar 126455 end thereof arerepparttar 126456 ways of death.

Let's take a quick look at what sin really is. It is disobedience to any ofrepparttar 126457 ten commandments of God, it is evil or conspiring thoughts, and it is an offense against someone else. Sin is what separates us from God. This is something sinners and people who condone sin never truly understand.

Isaiah 59:1-2 Behold, repparttar 126458 LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

God is more likely to listen torepparttar 126459 people who obey His commandments and keep his word than to people who make excuses to sin, or condone others who sin. He is also more likely to hearrepparttar 126460 complaints ofrepparttar 126461 poor andrepparttar 126462 oppressed than torepparttar 126463 rich and famous.

Revelation 3:17 - Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

People who make a lot of money and become famous in life tend to want or expect to be praised for their accomplishments and soon get caught up in self worth withrepparttar 126464 rest of society. They don't seem to comprehendrepparttar 126465 fact that God isrepparttar 126466 owner and supplier of everything each and everyone of us has or gets. Instead of glorifying and acknowledging God most people tend to want to pat themselves onrepparttar 126467 back when receivingrepparttar 126468 praises of others.
