Today I would like to talk about simple little function in Photoshop called ‘Levels’, first step to improving appearance of a photograph. There are 4 basic steps taken to enhance, brighten or retouch photos are Levels, Brightness, Variations, and Saturation, in that order.

“The Levels dialog box lets you correct tonal range and color balance of an image by adjusting intensity levels of image's shadows, midtones, and highlights. I remember watching movie "The Flim Flam Man" and heard quote "You Can't Con an Honest Man."

The above quote, taken in context of movie, did make perfect sense. The movie dialog implied that selfish desire to gain an unethical edge was hook experienced con man used to snare his victims or "pigeons." In end, victims fell for con because they had a disregard for Golden Rule!

I'm bringing this up because thinking implied by quote doesn't fit many of offers Internet Newbie will encounter while searching for a business guide.

You can be a good, honest and hard working person and still fall for many of traps awaiting you in cyberspace! The most appealing target for experienced Web con man, is Newbie's lack of experience and knowledge!

All over Net there are offers constantly bombarding Newbies with latest systems and applications; "new" methods that will grow a business with a minimum effort!
