Acupuncture on migraineWritten by Anonymous
A SHAM version of acupuncture works just as well for treating migraine headaches as real thing, and both fake and real acupuncture work better than no treatment at all, a new study has found. German researchers divided 302 migraine sufferers into three groups, first receiving real acupuncture, second fake and third were told to wait for treatment. By this measure, real acupuncture succeeded with 51 per cent, and sham procedure succeeded with 53 per cent, a statistically insignificant difference.

It’s fair to say when you started losing your hair you asked “why me”. Maybe after seeing your dad and older brother join hair less community you figured it was only a matter of time. You begin to shed more than your dog. How do you handle it?You can never really prepare for it…until now. Today market is flooded with products that promise to re grow hair. But truth of matter is they don’t all work. Hair loss products such as shampoos cleanse away sebum produced by sebaceous glands. The sebum builds up on scalp and hardens, clogging hair follicles there by inhibiting growth. That’s all well and good but it doesn’t get to root of problem. The hair stops growing because hair follicle is sick, not dirty. We all know main culprit is DHT. That doesn’t stand for disastrous hair thinning. It’s Dihydrotestosterone., which basically interrupts normal functioning of healthy hair growth. Products such as Rogaine, Procerin and Avacor have shown results with individuals whose hair is still in a growth phase or what’s clinically referred as anagen stage. The telogen stage is resting or dormant phase. It’s one where you start losing your hair. This is where most hair re-growth treatments fail.
