If you want to make prints, there are certain tips and requirements you need to follow. In printing some images, you will also need a scanner too. To start with your printing activities, you must have a collection of images you will include like photos and scanned images. Know kind of fonts you will use. You should be very particular with fonts and you should be able to figure out a nice font which suits your theme. If you want it appear trendy, make colorful fonts but if you want it look formal make it lighter and simple. As long as it is visible and uniform, it’s okay. You must know how to use some special software for editing and designing. You must be able to have knowledge in Photoshop or Corel to make your designs more creative and that software are most preferred by printers if you want to make out even prints. PageMaker QuarkXPress and Illustrator are some other options. If you are planning to focus more on fonts, it is advisable to use that software and it can easily be managed. If you make have knowledge in using PageMaker or QuarkXPress, it would be very handy for you. But If it’s your first encounter with software, you need to know at least basics of it and with exploring, next will follow.

If you’re talking about quality printing, digital printing does it all. You will not have second thoughts whether to print it digital way or follow old method. The two types of printing have many differences but in one way or another has their own advantages which both have in common. No matter how we claim digital printing is most trusted and efficient way of printing, we should never take old way of printing for granted. It’s nice that we have options for printing. Some tasks and printing jobs still require old method. The most advantage of digital printing is that it is less costly than press printing. Press printing requires a lot of processes and equipments and other props. Digital printing uses newest type of color application and separation which is CMYK. This kind of color separation is printed out in tiny dots and they are diversed into other assorted colors. Press printing uses Pantone Matching System which is called PMS. This kind of color printing is effective and efficient too. These colors are mixed to sort out and match a certain tone of colors. Proofing is done quickly in digital printing. It saves time and cuts budget because editing and some changes can be easily done in computer and in printer directly. Press printing may not be that expensive but it does not maintain very good accuracy.
