A Sun and a Shield

Written by Joyce C. Lock

The day is thine, repparttar night also is thine: thou hast preparedrepparttar 126588 light andrepparttar 126589 sun. Forrepparttar 126590 Lord God is a sun and shield:repparttar 126591 Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne asrepparttar 126592 sun before me.

The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens. Fromrepparttar 126593 rising ofrepparttar 126594 sun untorepparttar 126595 going down ofrepparttar 126596 samerepparttar 126597 Lord's name is to be praised.

The heavens declarerepparttar 126598 glory of God; andrepparttar 126599 firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through allrepparttar 126600 earth, and their words torepparttar 126601 end ofrepparttar 126602 world. In them hath he set a tabernacle forrepparttar 126603 sun, Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. His going forth is fromrepparttar 126604 end ofrepparttar 126605 heaven, and his circuit untorepparttar 126606 ends of it: and there is nothing hid fromrepparttar 126607 heat thereof.

The law ofrepparttar 126608 Lord is perfect, convertingrepparttar 126609 soul:repparttar 126610 testimony ofrepparttar 126611 Lord is sure, making wiserepparttar 126612 simple. The statutes ofrepparttar 126613 Lord are right, rejoicingrepparttar 126614 heart:repparttar 126615 commandment ofrepparttar 126616 Lord is pure, enlighteningrepparttar 126617 eyes. The fear ofrepparttar 126618 Lord is clean, enduring for ever:repparttar 126619 judgments ofrepparttar 126620 Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey andrepparttar 126621 honeycomb. Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

They shall fear thee as long asrepparttar 126622 sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.

Behold that which I have seen: it is good and comely for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoyrepparttar 126623 good of all his labour that he taketh underrepparttar 126624 sun allrepparttar 126625 days of his life, which God giveth him: for it is his portion.

Wisdom is good with an inheritance: and by it there is profit to them that seerepparttar 126626 sun. Then I commended mirth, because a man hath no better thing underrepparttar 126627 sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry: for that shall abide with him of his labourrepparttar 126628 days of his life, which God giveth him underrepparttar 126629 sun.

Who is she that looketh forth asrepparttar 126630 morning, fair asrepparttar 126631 moon, clear asrepparttar 126632 sun, and terrible as an army with banners? I went down intorepparttar 126633 garden of nuts to seerepparttar 126634 fruits ofrepparttar 126635 valley, and to see whetherrepparttar 126636 vine flourished, andrepparttar 126637 pomegranates budded. Or ever I was aware, my soul made me likerepparttar 126638 chariots of Amminadib. Return, return, O Shulamite; return, return, that we may look upon thee. What will ye see inrepparttar 126639 Shulamite? As it wererepparttar 126640 company of two armies.

The Lighthouse

Written by Joyce C. Lock

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God sawrepparttar light, that it was good: and God dividedrepparttar 126587 light fromrepparttar 126588 darkness. And God calledrepparttar 126589 light Day, andrepparttar 126590 darkness he called Night. Andrepparttar 126591 evening andrepparttar 126592 morning wererepparttar 126593 first day.

And let them be for lights inrepparttar 126594 firmament ofrepparttar 126595 heaven to give light uponrepparttar 126596 earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights;repparttar 126597 greater light to rulerepparttar 126598 day, andrepparttar 126599 lesser light to rulerepparttar 126600 night: he maderepparttar 126601 stars also. And God set them inrepparttar 126602 firmament ofrepparttar 126603 heaven to give light uponrepparttar 126604 earth, And to rule overrepparttar 126605 day and overrepparttar 126606 night, and to dividerepparttar 126607 light fromrepparttar 126608 darkness: and God saw that it was good.

Andrepparttar 126609 Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead themrepparttar 126610 way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: And he shall be asrepparttar 126611 light ofrepparttar 126612 morning, whenrepparttar 126613 sun riseth, even a morning without clouds; asrepparttar 126614 tender grass springing out ofrepparttar 126615 earth by clear shining after rain. The Jews had light, and gladness, and joy, and honour.

He discovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out to lightrepparttar 126616 shadow of death.

Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: andrepparttar 126617 light shall shine upon thy ways.

Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise? Dost thou know when God disposed them, and causedrepparttar 126618 light of his cloud to shine? By his neesings a light doth shine, and his eyes are likerepparttar 126619 eyelids ofrepparttar 126620 morning. For thou wilt light my candle:repparttar 126621 Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?repparttar 126622 Lord isrepparttar 126623 strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? For with thee isrepparttar 126624 fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness asrepparttar 126625 light, and thy judgment asrepparttar 126626 noonday.

O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles. For they got notrepparttar 126627 land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, andrepparttar 126628 light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.

The day is thine, repparttar 126629 night also is thine: thou hast preparedrepparttar 126630 light andrepparttar 126631 sun. Blessed isrepparttar 126632 people that knowrepparttar 126633 joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, inrepparttar 126634 light of thy countenance.

Light is sown forrepparttar 126635 righteous, and gladness forrepparttar 126636 upright in heart.

Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest outrepparttar 126637 heavens like a curtain: He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light inrepparttar 126638 night. Untorepparttar 126639 upright there ariseth light inrepparttar 126640 darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

God isrepparttar 126641 Lord, which hath shewed us light: bindrepparttar 126642 sacrifice with cords, even untorepparttar 126643 horns ofrepparttar 126644 altar. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding untorepparttar 126645 simple.

If I say, Surelyrepparttar 126646 darkness shall cover me; evenrepparttar 126647 night shall be light about me. Yea,repparttar 126648 darkness hideth not from thee; butrepparttar 126649 night shineth asrepparttar 126650 day:repparttar 126651 darkness andrepparttar 126652 light are both alike to thee.

Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light. Butrepparttar 126653 path ofrepparttar 126654 just is asrepparttar 126655 shining light, that shineth more and more untorepparttar 126656 perfect day. Forrepparttar 126657 commandment is a lamp; andrepparttar 126658 law is light; and reproofs of instruction arerepparttar 126659 way of life.

The light ofrepparttar 126660 eyes rejoicethrepparttar 126661 heart: and a good report makethrepparttar 126662 bones fat. Inrepparttar 126663 light ofrepparttar 126664 king's countenance is life; and his favour is as a cloud ofrepparttar 126665 latter rain.

Then I saw that wisdom excelleth folly, as far as light excelleth darkness. Trulyrepparttar 126666 light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is forrepparttar 126667 eyes to beholdrepparttar 126668 sun.

O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk inrepparttar 126669 light ofrepparttar 126670 Lord. Torepparttar 126671 law and torepparttar 126672 testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell inrepparttar 126673 land ofrepparttar 126674 shadow of death, upon them hathrepparttar 126675 light shined.

Moreoverrepparttar 126676 light ofrepparttar 126677 moon shall be asrepparttar 126678 light ofrepparttar 126679 sun, andrepparttar 126680 light ofrepparttar 126681 sun shall be sevenfold, asrepparttar 126682 light of seven days, inrepparttar 126683 day thatrepparttar 126684 Lord bindeth uprepparttar 126685 breach of his people, and healethrepparttar 126686 stroke of their wound.

Irepparttar 126687 Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant ofrepparttar 126688 people, for a light ofrepparttar 126689 Gentiles; And I will bringrepparttar 126690 blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them. I formrepparttar 126691 light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: Irepparttar 126692 Lord do all these things.

And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise uprepparttar 126693 tribes of Jacob, and to restorerepparttar 126694 preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light torepparttar 126695 Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation untorepparttar 126696 end ofrepparttar 126697 earth.

Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light ofrepparttar 126698 people. Then shall thy light break forth asrepparttar 126699 morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee;repparttar 126700 glory ofrepparttar 126701 Lord shall be thy rereward. And if thou draw out thy soul torepparttar 126702 hungry, and satisfyrepparttar 126703 afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be asrepparttar 126704 noonday.
