A Day In The Life… Princess Diaries?Every Month we’ll choose A Day In Life Of… This will give you a chance to hear all about being a Princess, an Angel, a Brat, a Daddy’s Girl, and A Birthday Girl… This Month’s Day In The Life…is A Day In The Life Of A Princess 8:30 AM – Wake up to Britney singing… “Baby One More Time” on my royal alarm clock. 9:00 AM – Sachet into royal bathroom to take a long leisurely bath filled with rose petals and Soy Milk (for that royally soft and silky feeling). Rose Petal filled bath is sooo fun and smell sooo good. 10:30 AM – Brunch with Mums & Pops in Garden. Fresh Strawberries with Ice Cream over a Scrumptious Belgian Waffle, yum-yum! Cheese covered Hash Browns, A tall Strawberry Malted and this month’s issue of Cosmo Girl. 11:30 AM – Stroll over to Barn and Hitch up my Best Friend and Favorite Pony “Chelsea” for a Ride into City for a Beauty Makeover. 12:00 PM – Beauty Appointment @ Pinky’s Perfect Parlor. Pinky’s best in country and it’s taken a month to get an appointment with her. Hair, Make Up, Manicure & Pedicure and of course her Famous exfoliating Sea Kelp Wrap – All in The Name Of Beauty. 2:30 PM – Ride The Royal Float in summer festival Parade. Remember to Smile and Wave at All that Adore me. The people of my Dad’s Kingdom really do Love Me! 4:00 PM – Autograph signing at Grand Opening of “ Café Royal” – My cousins Coffee & Crumpet Shop. Remember to bring Pink pens – Pink is my Signature color.

It’s vacation time and families everywhere are “getting away” for a week-end or longer. Many go to a waterfront get-a-way so that they can enjoy hot, soft sand, cool breezes, and water activities. There is so much for every age-group to do when it comes to oceans, lakes, or smaller water areas. If you are into surfing, fishing, or water-skiing then these are perfect destinations. When you have children with your group, what can they do to pass time when water gets a little too chilled, just after mealtime, or when they need a quiet time from all activity? Searching for seashells or agates is a family affair. Letting your children discover uniqueness in each “find” and letting them enjoy pleasure of a “treasure” puts smiles on everyone’s face. You bag up your shells or agates and then when you get home, they are usually put in a jar or a can and shelved. Why not use your found items and decorate your home with them, especially your child’s room? Picture frames are about easiest way to remind everyone of fun and enjoyment you had on your trek to seashore. They can be as elaborate as you like, or as simple as placing a few “favorites” on edges of a pre-made frame and highlighting a photograph. Those with wonderful color hues or very unusual shapes or textures work best. Framing a small bathroom mirror, or dresser accent is also a fine way to display nature’s works of art. If you have a jewelry box or any small decorative chest, add shells and give it new life. Placing a shelf in your child’s room high enough not to create a safety hazard, and placing large starfish or horns will give them many moments of day-dreaming and reflection. Just adding a few new shells to your home aquarium or goldfish bowl will give it very special meaning and a personalization.
