4 Simple Tricks for Targeted TrafficWritten by Burke Ferguson
Here are 4 of most easiest and simplest things to implement into a site for a very generous boost in traffic. These can all be implemented within a very short time. Of course depending on Search Engine you most likely will have to wait for them to spider your site, but when they do,... Targeted Traffic will come, I GUARANTEE it.Ok,... -- Tip 1 -- It's a good idea to insert a link to a sitemap into your index page at bottom, if this is page you paid for inclusion with. Why? This is so, when search engine spiders crawl your site they will ALSO spider your sitemap thus indexing ALL of your other webpages via sitemap. Thus, indexing your whole site into search engine(s). And having each page in engines is very good and beneficial for ya, giving you more coverage with your site. -- Tip 2 -- Try to restrict your website to a minimal number of directories as possible. Why? Search engines like to see a URL or web address of like: http://www.yoursite.com/page.html NOT one that looks like http://www.yoursite.com/this_dir/that_dir/another_dir/page.html So try to restrict your site to as few directories as possible and try to put your most important pages as close to root directory as possible too. So spiders don't have to "fish through" directory after directory to find your pages. -- Tip 3 -- When creating your website, implement a "reverse pyramid style" construction. Why? Search engines like to see a broad to specific layout. Your index page, would be your broad or wide theme about your whole site, and your interior pages should focus in or "zero-in" to a specific interest. For example, if your site is on dogs, a more specific area or page would be show dogs and/or working dogs etc.
| | One Ebook Equals 400 linksWritten by Stephan Miller
Give or take another hundred, that is. I have to admit, I love PDF ebooks. They look great, you can print them from your computer, and you can read them on any operating system. But there is also an advantage to .exe ebooks that only a few people seem to know about. Since it is an .exe file, it can be considered an ebook or as software. I'll bet if you have been online for a while, you may have seen software packages that you can buy resale rights on. Or you find a really prolific programmer. Somehow, he has managed to created 20 programs in period of a week or so. Then you try some of software. It's amazing how much it looks like an ebook. That's because it is, but we will get to that later. For now, I am going to show you a step by step plan for getting a massive amount of links to your site in less than a month. If you write a free PDF ebook and start submitting it to ebook sites, you haven't really created very many links because amount of ebooks sites are limited. But an .exe book is different. You can submit this book to not only ebook sites, but also software sites and I am going to show you a step by step plan to get this accomplished. 1.Create ebook I try not to create anything below average, even if I give it away for free. Don't create one of those ebook's that are just one webpage and that page is just a sales page, because here is what happens: Download, browse, delete. You want your ebook to have value. One way to write this ebook quickly is to gather articles from many free reprint article directories on web. Just find a theme that you would like to write about, write a simple introduction and add articles. You may find some affiliate programs related to your theme and add those too. Another way is to harvest your bookmarks. I don't know about you, but I have links that I use at least weekly and some of these aren't really popular enough to make it to top of Google. Take these bookmarks and write an ebook around them. For example, you could write an ebook on how to get your website started for less than $10, especially if you have already done this. Just tell your story around your links, from your cheap domain name registrar link to your favorite free HTML editor link.
