“Your Most Important Opportunity,” says a top UK Personal Development Coach. Written by Jo Ball
Continued from page 1 When you listen to your instincts and accept that things are not right you put yourself back in driving seat where you can recreate situations and get to grips with life. When you ignore them, they return over and over again, often increasing in intensity until you have to deal with them. Sooner or later you will have to deal with all issues in life. Why wait until they get to point of danger where you feel ill or you feel like your world is falling apart? Deal with them while pressure is not too intense. Deal with them now. If you leave it too late you won’t be in best frame of mind and you’ll more than likely handle it poorly. Your instinct is your greatest opportunity. It is there to help you navigate through life, like a rudder on a ship. The problem is all too often we ignore it and try to navigate using logic, which is more like snapping rudder off and hoping for best.

• USE YOUR INTUITION! Unlucky people often fail to follow their intuition when making a choice, whereas lucky people tend to respect hunches. Lucky people are interested in how they both think and feel about various options, rather than simply looking at rational side of situation. Gut feelings act as an alarm bell - to consider a decision carefully. • VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE! Unlucky people tend to be creatures of routine. By contrast, lucky people try to introduce variety into their lives. Doing same thing every day, or thinking about same thing every day creates a rut that prevents you from encountering opportunity. • ALWAYS LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE! Lucky people tend to see positive side of ill fortune. If they get a bad break, they cheer themselves up by saying "it could have been worse." When one of Wiseman's extremely lucky subjects broke his leg, he cheerfully explained that it could have been worse - he could have broken his neck. So, in a nutshell, how do you change your luck? Think outside box, think positive, don't dwell on past and if you fall off your horse, get right back on it. According to Wiseman, good or ill fortune is not karma, its not a curse and its definitely not magic. It is self-created.
