And so, Joseph, you might ask, how does it happen that so many human bodies are afflicted with all these deadly dis-eases and disasters? And how does it happen that virtually all human bodies die of dis-ease if they live long enough?

Well, friends, dis-ease is not caused by your bodies not doing their jobs. Which is to maintain a state of balance, equilibrium, health. Your bodies know how to do that very well.

Most of you underestimate your own power -- your power to create your own realities.

And so if you pay too much attention to all “news” out there, you’re not doing yourselves or your bodies any favors.

An excellent example of that is your yearly outbreak of flu. It happens like clockwork, as you say. And this year there’s been a much publicized concern over not having enough flu vaccine to go around.

Immerse yourselves enough in that mindset, that vibration, and you’re almost certainly going to get flu. There are, however, those among you (and John is an example) who pay no attention to such matters -- and who never or rarely get flu.

If you truly believe your bodies are weak and vulnerable to whatever germ, bug, or virus that comes along, then you weaken your bodies’ natural instincts and their abilities to maintain a state of perfect health.

And if you get someone in a position of authority, like a physician, telling you you’re likely to die from this or that, and you hold that belief, you’re probably going to die from this or that.

But it need not be that way. You create your reality, including your physical health and manner of your departure from this life.

So it behooves you to assist your body in doing what it does so well -- that is, maintaining a state of perfect health. And you can best do that by staying out of way. And by trusting your body to create and re-create itself in perfect balance every moment of your physical life, from birth to death.

Trust is key here.

An Anam Cara reminds you of what is important.

They guide you to knowing who you are. They take you into what are called in Ireland “thin places.” They take you to edge. They coax you to edge. When you are trusting enough they push you. They know this is only way for you to learn to fly. They know you are an eagle that was brought up in a society of chickens. The Anam Cara will take you soaring. The very air that will take you higher is learning trust and faith in your essential goodness.

An Anam Cara takes you to source. You will be taken beyond time and space to very souse of your being. This will be done using different techniques depending on which Anam Cara you talk with. There will be techniques to take you out of constant chatter of coop into light heartedness of life beyond chicken wire. These techniques take you into ease and allow you to give up dis-ease.

An Anam Cara will affirm YOU.

You will be told that YOU are forever enough. This is because Anam Cara knows that you are forever enough. They have seen beyond limitation of ego. They know prison house of little self. They know you hold key to liberation. Only they might tell you that door is always open. It was and never will be shut to you. They have trust that “all is well and all manner of things shall be well.”

An Anam Cara does really care.

They know you are always held in hand of Beloved. They are not here to do anything for or to you. They are only there to facilitate your discovery that you are always enough. They know that what you need is not more of anything but a great big helping of “no thing.” This gives your soul true rest. This is where you give up trying to live life and become life abundant. You become flow of essential. Nothing matters because it all matters. Ultimately they take you to love of soul.

So this is how I would answer my Anam Cara soul hen.

Would she be satisfied? I am not sure. I know she would think I have avoided real question. “What comes first? – chicken or egg.” I compensate by tenderly gathering her up in my arms. I stroke her beautiful chicken head. I tell her, “I love you.” I tell her, “You are a forever enough hen.” She goes off and lays another golden egg.

I leave coop. I leave this Chicken Coop for Soul and return up ramp to our cottage. I am gathered in. I leave Murphy to debate rudiments of flying. He is on edge. He is excited. One day soon he too hopes to fly. The question is, “Which soul hen will do pushing.”
