Would You Deny Him?

God keeps His Word in that He will never walk overrepparttar heart of man to accomplish His purpose. No apostle, no prophet, no Savior, no calling has any power with man; except they first be received by faith (II Co. 1:24).

If you want to seerepparttar 126854 works of Jesus, repparttar 126855 power of Jesus, andrepparttar 126856 truth of Jesus in their lives one, first, has to believe they are a messenger ofrepparttar 126857 Lord (Mt. 23:39); and faith without works is dead.

For every action contained inrepparttar 126858 scriptures, there is a reaction. First, 'trust' God (believe Him), 'try' Him (takerepparttar 126859 step of faith), and then God will 'prove' He is who He says He is.

Might we also require proof of Jesus, causing Him great sorrow, and risk forfeiture of our blessings (Mk. 8:11)? Or, could we acceptrepparttar 126860 proof already provided inrepparttar 126861 scriptures and reap its reward?

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me."

John 13:20

For they lovedrepparttar praise of men more thanrepparttar 126853 praise of God. Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions. Exceptrepparttar 126854 LORD buildrepparttar 126855 house, they labour in vain that build it: exceptrepparttar 126856 LORD keeprepparttar 126857 city, repparttar 126858 watchman waketh but in vain.

Thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?

Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? For great isrepparttar 126859 Lord, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods. And yet they would not hearken unto their judges, but they went a whoring after other gods, and bowed themselves unto them: they turned quickly out ofrepparttar 126860 way which their fathers walked in, obeyingrepparttar 126861 commandments ofrepparttar 126862 LORD; but they did not so.

Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth. And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.

Each were destined to fail ...

Butrepparttar 126863 natural man receiveth notrepparttar 126864 things ofrepparttar 126865 Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. Forrepparttar 126866 wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He takethrepparttar 126867 wise in their own craftiness. And again, The Lord knowethrepparttar 126868 thoughts ofrepparttar 126869 wise, that they are vain. Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours.

Each had missed an important ingredient in their teaching ...

Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to allrepparttar 126870 flock, overrepparttar 126871 whichrepparttar 126872 Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed(s)repparttar 126873 church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. Which things also we speak, not inrepparttar 126874 words which man's wisdom teacheth, but whichrepparttar 126875 Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

Some chose a path of resistance and found success.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not berepparttar 126876 servant of Christ. But I certify you, brethren, thatrepparttar 126877 gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but byrepparttar 126878 revelation of Jesus Christ.

But as then he that was born afterrepparttar 126879 flesh persecuted him that was born afterrepparttar 126880 Spirit, even so it is now.

Forrepparttar 126881 prophecy came not in old time byrepparttar 126882 will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved byrepparttar 126883 Holy Ghost. But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that ofrepparttar 126884 heart, inrepparttar 126885 spirit, and not inrepparttar 126886 letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Forrepparttar 126887 kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy inrepparttar 126888 Holy Ghost. For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men. Let us therefore follow afterrepparttar 126889 things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And have put onrepparttar 126890 new man, which is renewed in knowledge afterrepparttar 126891 image of him that created him. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, repparttar 126892 man Christ Jesus. Butrepparttar 126893 anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but asrepparttar 126894 same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Success Guaranteed

This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. As every man hath receivedrepparttar 126895 gift, even so ministerrepparttar 126896 same one to another, as good stewards ofrepparttar 126897 manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak asrepparttar 126898 oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as ofrepparttar 126899 ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
