•Cuffed pants- Many of cuffed pants are also cropped.

•Tunics- They will not only give you a different look. You will also feel comfortable and cool.

•Prints, patterns and stripes, embroidered etc. are in this summer. So, do not be afraid to buy a blouse with floral print (any type of prints).

•About fabric- Silk is definitely in style. Do not be surprise to see a lot of lace jewels, beads, rhinestones etc. on clothes.

•Accessorize- You will find anything from drop earrings to beaded and wooded jewelry. Other very popular accessories are brooches, variety of buckle belts, pendants, neck silk scarfs and many more. Just make sure that you do not over accessorize.

•Shoes- Comfort is also chic now. I have never seen such a variety of thong sandals. Mules, flip flops, flats, and moccasins are “a la mode” also. Wedges are good for ladies that like to wear higher shoes; they are comfortable as long as you are able to sustain balance.

Coordinate - Chances are you have a date that will be taking you to Prom. Communicate with him to figure out what he is going to be wearing as far as style and color to make sure that you will coordinate with him. This is often overlooked but can you see importance for example if: You buy a light colored dress that has a retro feel to it, and your date is going for a flash look with shiny suit and tie. The two just won’t match and you will end up looking like an odd pair.

Take your time when looking for a dress. Prom is important! I would recommend taking above into consideration; remember though that confidence can make any dress look good, so if dress you really want doesn’t really work for you, Get it! Feel good about yourself and have a same prom.
