In other words is it residual (repeating monthly income) but more than that, is your income vested so that if something happens to you income will still come to your family for generations to come or go to whomever you will it to or whom you assign it to. That is very significant and most important.

5. What kind of benefits and incentives do you get, that will help you save while you earn, i.e. health, other money saving benefits, etc.

6. What is cost of your investment and how soon will you get a return on it; Me, I like immediate. Don't you? Also what percentage of commissions, overrides and bonuses do you get, some are so low it is ridiculous.

7. Do you have to spend a lot of money buying products etc monthly, volumes that you possibly won't use before you have to buy again just to get paid so it ends up in garage or you have to give it away. Along with buying do you have to also sale so much volume a month to get paid. Some company commissions as small as they are, are dependent upon on how much "product" is purchased by your clients or you each month. That can put strain on your pocket and retention of clients could be tough if they can buy same or similar product at local super stores. The concept above is usually called Personal Volume and Business Volume or called PV and BV, which if it does not balance out, (quotas) you get Zero Balance, No PAY Due. Oh yeah find out if demand to spend more just get larger over time, so that you can so call advance. I started in Affiliate marketing and it was a very inauspicious start, I can tell you. However, over time and with effort, determination and fortunately, some good advice, I managed to make a modest living online. After learning almost everything hard way, I decided to write an ebook guide/tutorial about how to get an Affiliate home based business off ground and working – with minimal financial risk. It has been received well but it’s still early days.

I like to think it’s received well because I don’t promise ‘fortunes’ and I only tell people that it’s POSSIBLE for them to achieve their dream of working from home, while earning a reasonable income, if they work at it, follow some simple rules and apply some important principles. I know there are people who have managed to make ‘super money’ on Internet but believe me they are exceptions. They are truly extraordinary rather than ordinary. They are ones who are ‘lucky few’ because they have done something extraordinary. All I, and most of other five percent, have done is work at something hard enough with devotion and determination is takes to make money with a Home Based Business online.

In closing, I must say that there are some very good Home Based Business opportunities on Internet and they can be quite lucrative for right people, but figures would suggest that only five percent of us are ‘right people’. If it’s not going to cost you a large amount of money or a commitment of ongoing fees or subscriptions, by all means, give it a try but be very careful if you’re asked to fork out a large amount on promise of an unbelievably huge return. Of course, schemes that promise outrageous and cost nothing are relatively harmless. They can only cost you time.
