Imagine if I got a car and started driving it, but I refused to first learn how it operated; refused to add fluids and gasoline to it; refused to maintain it. How far would I get in that car? The car is a mechanical system designed to produce transportation from one place to another. And it does do that, but only if I do what is required of me to make that system operate.

So many of people I talk to on line today want to find some magic system that will transport them from their 9-5 jobs to self ownership and financial freedom. But they don’t want to put any gas in system, they don’t want to promote system, they don’t want even want to drive system. And they sit back and wonder why it doesn’t work.

It doesn’t work because they don’t.

If your program is not producing results you thought it would, maybe you need to take another look, not just at system, but at yourself. Go over owner’s manual again. Are you doing things it says are required for proper operation? If you are, then look at getting out of program and finding another one, but if you are not, then don’t blame program. Don’t blame yourself either. Just start working system as it was intended to be worked.

#4. Press Releases are another great way to get free publicity about your business. Here is a great site that I found that sells software that not only has templates to help you develop a great press release, but software they offer can also send out your press release to over 20,000 news sources. http://www.pressblaster.net/. For a directory of newspapers simply type keyword: newspapers into there search engine find.

#5. Posting signs at corners near stop signs and stoplights is another great way to draw attention to your homebased business and website. On sign make sure to post a short and sweet description of what you propose to sell, your toll free 800#, and your web address. Here is Toll Free# to a company that will produce 50 signs for less than $90. {1-800-853-8458). You can also make your own signs relatively cheap by buying materials at a nearby Home Depot.

#6. Writing and submitting articles to e-zines and newsletters is another excellent way to attract potential customers to your website. Just simply choose a topic and write away. Be careful to check spelling before submitting article. Submit your articles to e-zines and newsletters that cater to your topic. At end of each article be sure to leave a resource box with your personal information and web address. This is your payment provided that an e-zine or newsletter decides to publish your article.
