I think that’s how a lot of people live life. They seerepparttar people who have Jesus in their lives. They seerepparttar 122807 people who have peace, and it looks like so much fun. Yet here they are, unsure of how or if to make that decision. Unsure if they can really “do this.”

The one thing these people don’t need is those “skiers” of us acting like they’re silly for feeling like they do. They aren’t silly. Their fear is real, and if we don’t help them through their fear, they’re likely to click those skies right off and go sit down. Instead get back torepparttar 122808 place where you were fearful of taking this giant leap and allow them to work through their fear with you their side.

Undoubtedly they will be swooshing downrepparttar 122809 slopes of faith in no time, and maybe, just maybe they’ll offer some understanding to another fearful skier alongrepparttar 122810 way.

Question: Doesrepparttar personal choice presented above sound crazy to you? If so, ask yourself this question - "What's my alternative choice?" Sure, you can become emotionally charged, react in anger or even allow yourself to sink into a deep depression. But what will that accomplish? Nothing constructive, that is for certain.

The better choice is to dip into your personal reserves and "be" your better self. #2 Boss just told you your department isn't meeting expectations, and you are being placed on notice?

Initial Reactions: "He has always had it out for me. I'm next onrepparttar 122806 chopping block. It's a conspiracy! I'm going to report him to HR andrepparttar 122807 Corporate Ethics Line because I feel threatened!..etc, etc.

OR,

CLICK! "Alright, my boss just told me exactly what he expects from me. I'm going to start immediately to address every issue he mentioned to show him that I understand what he expects and that I am committed to not letting he, orrepparttar 122808 company, down. I may not agree with everything he said, but I respectrepparttar 122809 position that he holds and it's my duty to support upper management andrepparttar 122810 company I work for. I can do this!" Asrepparttar 122811 preceding examples point out, "THE CLICK" isrepparttar 122812 result of asking yourself, "What isrepparttar 122813 most constructive way I can look at this situation, and what action steps must I immediately take to professionally address this issue?"

Bottom line: NEVER forgetrepparttar 122814 power of "THE CLICK". NEVER allow yourself to be a victim of circumstance.

Instead, utilize this all-important tool to remainrepparttar 122815 master of your own destiny.

Don't be "affected" - be EFFECTIVE.
