Under the bedWritten by Adeolu Oluade
Continued from page 1 'What if it's a hoax?' 'I've tried and failed, what can I do?' 'Does it really belong to me?' 'Does it really concern me?' 'Who will believe it?' 'Who will support me to make it a reality?' 'Can I have enough time for it?' Whatever may be question,Jesus Christ is Answer!!! In him alone can found relevant answers to any question that troubles human mind. Firstly, each one should have a personal relationship with him as one's personal Lord and Saviour(Acts 2:38)! Secondly, each follower of Christ should be continually filled by Holy Spirit 'to dream dream'(Acts 2:39). The Holy Spirit energises Christian to overcome all inward and outward limitations in fulfilling 'the dream': Zech.4:6(KJV) "Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is word of LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith LORD of hosts." Thirdly, write down your 'dream' as revealed by spirit of God(Hab.2:2). Fourthly, focus on not on 'dream',but on Jesus Christ as 'the Alpha and Omega'(Rev.1:11) of one's 'dream'. Fifthly, treat others and their 'dreams' with respect(Gal.2:7). Sixthly, receive, appreciate, and encourage those God sends to help you fulfill your 'dream'(Rom.16). Seventhly,do not be in a hurry:recognise and accept God's timing!(Hab.2:3) Eighthly, accept that total picture of one's calling is only and full known to God! It is in 'the grey areas' of this picture of destiny that one needs to daily walk with God by faith(2 Cor.5:7). These areas may later or never be revealed by God as he wills!(Deut.29:29). Ninthly,do not despise 'the dream' if it is just secular indicating a new invention or innovation to make world a better place to glory of God! Finally reach out 'under bed',bring out 'the dream' and make it happen;then put litter into a real trash can! Philippians 4:13(KJV) "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."

| | What They Mean By Child-Like FaithWritten by Eric Engel
Continued from page 1
Providing is only one of father’s functions. A good father guides his son to safety, and sometimes forces him there. Why? Because a child doesn’t always know what will harm him and what won’t. The child thinks he wants cookies for supper…the father knows that this would harm him. The obedient son accepts his father’s authority, even if he doesn’t understand it. But ignorance doesn’t release child from responsibility. The father might use his authority to lay a foundation, but expects son to some day understand reasons behind his actions. The father expects his son to grow and mature…but always realize his own inferiority to father. Always ready to accept his father’s direction. It’s same with God and us. We’re not so much commanded to accept our foolishness (or simplicity) but to realize it and accept Christ’s authority when we disagree. Sometimes this means accepting rule of Christ’s Church, and is an act of will. Sometimes, it’s forced upon us. Like when we face some disaster and wonder “How could God let this happen to me?” This is what it means to have child-like faith. This is how we’ll enter into heaven. And this is why Bible constantly points out our foolishness. Because in shadow of God, our own intellect and knowledge of what’s good for us isn’t always focused. And more we realize it, more it becomes our duty to gain that understanding, but accept authority until we do.
