Tool-tip pop-ups? Use "title=" in your Tags

Written by Dianne Reuby

Continued from page 1

These "tool-tips" can give valuable help to your visitors, and make your page look neater - you don't need to have long explanations on display. By including them in a title tag, your visitors will see them when they need them.

They'll work in Internet Explorer version 4 onwards. Netscape version 4 and later should show them correctly, but I haven't been able to test all versions.

Finally I createrepparttar subdirectories for each page, andrepparttar 134466 image directories inside each subdirectory.

Now, when I start creating my pages and graphics, I save them inrepparttar 134467 correct directory. I can checkrepparttar 134468 site in my browser, and any missing pictures or broken page links will show up straight away.

Once my site is up and running, I make sure I keep my mirror image of it up to date, then I don't get any nasty surprises when I upload changes.

I can also view my site without having to go on-line if necessary.
