3) Contact information- Does business have contact information available on their site? Can you call them? Do they have a physical address? A legitimate business will have that information posted on their site in an easy to find spot.

5) Does company offer goods or services? Legitimate businesses will offer some type of goods or services for any fees they charge. A company that claims you can make money by recruiting new members is an illegal pyramid scheme. If company charges a fee, they must offer some type of service or product. Two great websites on fraud are Internet Fraud Watch www.fraud.org and National Consumer's League at www.nclnet.org.

6) Ask, Ask, Ask! If you do a search on business forums or discussion boards, what will you find? Thousands of websites where you can post and ask questions about business. Chances are that opportunity you are interested in has already been discussed many times over. Seek opinions of other people who are building a home based business. The advice is priceless and well worth your search efforts.

Disadvantage: You don't have power to change market plan, product or any tools. You have to use them whether you like it or not.

Which one you choose is wholly up to you. But for me who is so lazy of doing any thinking and working, I'd choose option 2.

Still, you have to make filter out millions of products that you can promote for your business.

Here are guidelines for choosing them:

1. Available marketing tools: Are they giving me any marketing tools? eg. email ad, banner ad, sales letter etc. The marketing marketing tools provided, better.

2. Product is suitable for huge market: Choose a product that can be use by many people and not only for certain group of consumer.

3. Recurring commission: For me this is most important factor. Some product, you earn your comission only once when you make one off sales. Normally, you earn a recurring commission when you sell product that needs buyer make recurring payment every month. So, you will earn your commission every month as long as buyer makes payment.
