This is not time to indulge in useless arguments like Sindhi, Mohajir, Punjabi or Sunni or Shia etc, that divide us. This is time to burry our differences once and for all, and demolish any physical or mental or religious barriers that divide us. War is being thrust upon us. If we remain steadfast and united, Allah Almighty guarantees our victory. If we don't, then we will be on our own. Then Allah Almighty will not help us, no matter how much we pray for His help. The only course we should adopt is course of unity and balance based on reason and not on emotion. Let us learn from Quran meaning of Siraat-al Mustaqeem, straight and most balanced way. We must maintain balance. Otherwise, we will fall. Regards Parvez www.parvez-video.com

Since Quran prescribed fasting specifically in month of Ramadan, it is important to know significance of this special time. A special feature of Quran is that whenever it gives a command for action, it also provides wisdom behind it. It tells what final result of that action will be in this world, if it is successfully carried out. In this way Quran provides a pragmatic test for people to see whether or not they are moving toward that desired result. Regarding fasting, Quran says: O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that ye may (learn) self-restraint .
