I remember gathering for Thanksgiving day In Jacksonville, Florida I would eat and play With all my cousins whom I truly adore We would walk down to that little store
On Buffalo Avenue sits their little home Aunt Mil still lives there, Grandpa had a bald dome The family cemetery, New Home is
place Many kin are resting there, they have run their final race
One day I hope to see them once more At that family reunion on that golden shore Where separations will be in
past At home with my family at last
