THE SPLITTING ASUNDER OF "THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH" Another verse aboutrepparttar creation ofrepparttar 127704 heavens is as follows: Do notrepparttar 127705 Unbelievers see thatrepparttar 127706 heavens andrepparttar 127707 earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before We clove them asunder, and We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe? (The Qur'an, 21:30) The word ratq translated as "sewn to" means "mixed in each, blended" in Arabic dictionaries. It is used to refer to two different substances that make up a whole. The phrase "we unstitched" isrepparttar 127708 verb fataqa in Arabic and implies that something comes into being by tearing apart or destroyingrepparttar 127709 structure of ratq. The sprouting of a seed fromrepparttar 127710 soil is one ofrepparttar 127711 actions to which this verb is applied. Let us take a look atrepparttar 127712 verse again with this knowledge in mind. Inrepparttar 127713 verse, sky and earth are at first subject torepparttar 127714 status of ratq. They are separated (fataqa) with one coming out ofrepparttar 127715 other. Intriguingly, when we rememberrepparttar 127716 first moments ofrepparttar 127717 Big Bang, we see that a single point included allrepparttar 127718 matter inrepparttar 127719 universe. In other words, everything, including "the heavens and earth" which were not created yet, were included in this point in a condition of ratq. This point exploded violently, causing its matter to fataqa and inrepparttar 127720 process createdrepparttar 127721 structure ofrepparttar 127722 whole universe. When we comparerepparttar 127723 expressions inrepparttar 127724 verse with scientific findings, we see that they are in perfect agreement with each other. Interestingly enough, these findings were not arrived at untilrepparttar 127725 20th century. ORBITS While referring torepparttar 127726 Sun andrepparttar 127727 Moon inrepparttar 127728 Qur'an, it is emphasized that each moves in a definite orbit. It is He Who createdrepparttar 127729 night andrepparttar 127730 day, andrepparttar 127731 sun andrepparttar 127732 moon. They swim along, each in an orbit. (The Qur'an, 21:33) It is mentioned in another verse, too, thatrepparttar 127733 Sun is not static but moves in a definite orbit: Andrepparttar 127734 sun runs to its resting place. That isrepparttar 127735 decree ofrepparttar 127736 Almighty, repparttar 127737 All-Knowing. (The Qur'an, 36:38) These facts communicated inrepparttar 127738 Qur'an have been discovered by astronomical observations in our age. According torepparttar 127739 calculations of experts on astronomy, repparttar 127740 Sun is traveling atrepparttar 127741 enormous speed of 720,000 kilometers an hour inrepparttar 127742 direction ofrepparttar 127743 star Vega in a particular orbit calledrepparttar 127744 Solar Apex. This means thatrepparttar 127745 sun travels roughly 17,280,000 kilometers a day. Along withrepparttar 127746 Sun, and all planets and satellites withinrepparttar 127747 gravitational system ofrepparttar 127748 Sun also travelrepparttar 127749 same distance. In addition, allrepparttar 127750 stars inrepparttar 127751 universe are in a similar planned motion. Thatrepparttar 127752 entire universe is full of paths and orbits such as this one, is written inrepparttar 127753 Qur'an as follows: Byrepparttar 127754 sky full of paths and orbits. (The Qur'an, 51:7) There are about 200 billion galaxies inrepparttar 127755 universe, consisting of nearly 200 billion stars in each. Most of these stars have planets, and most of those planets have satellites. All of these heavenly bodies move in very precisely computed orbits. For millions of years, each has been "swimming" along in its own orbit in perfect harmony and order with allrepparttar 127756 others. Moreover, many comets also move along inrepparttar 127757 orbits determined for them. The orbits inrepparttar 127758 universe do not only belong to celestial bodies. The galaxies also travel at enormous speeds in computed, planned orbits. During these movements, none of these celestial bodies cuts across another's path, or collides with another. Surely atrepparttar 127759 timerepparttar 127760 Qur'an was revealed, mankind did not possess today's telescopes or advanced observation technologies to observe millions of kilometres of space, norrepparttar 127761 modern knowledge of physics or astronomy. Therefore, at that time, it was not possible to determine scientifically that space is "full of paths and orbits" as stated inrepparttar 127762 verse. However, this was openly declared to us inrepparttar 127763 Qur'an that was revealed at that time:–becauserepparttar 127764 Qur'an isrepparttar 127765 word of God.
