There is a River...

Isrepparttar river of life water only? No. It has several properties. Just as light has properties of particles and waves, which bogglerepparttar 140314 minds of scientists today, repparttar 140315 river of life is water, fire, and life. Daniel 7:10 says, “A river of fire was flowing, coming out from before him…” (NIV) Acts 2:3-4 says, “They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled withrepparttar 140316 Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues asrepparttar 140317 Spirit enabled them.” (NIV) What’s interesting to me is thatrepparttar 140318 Spirit of God is likened to fire that separates at will and comes to rest onrepparttar 140319 early disciples, gathered inrepparttar 140320 upper room. Here again, repparttar 140321 elements used to describerepparttar 140322 working or manifestation ofrepparttar 140323 Holy Spirit are given life-generating properties. One might conclude thatrepparttar 140324 Holy Spirit was inrepparttar 140325 river flowing fromrepparttar 140326 Throne and inrepparttar 140327 fire that lighted onrepparttar 140328 heads ofrepparttar 140329 early disciple inrepparttar 140330 upper room. The Holy Spirit gives life-generating properties to every thing it touches. Touch me Holy Spirit!

What is its relationship to us—the Body of Christ? Psalm 36: 8-9 says, “They feast onrepparttar 140331 abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights. For with you isrepparttar 140332 fountain of life; in your light we see light.” (NIV) The river of life is delightful to us. After allrepparttar 140333 joy ofrepparttar 140334 Lord is my strength. In other words, repparttar 140335 river of life gives me delight and strengthens my soul to live in victory. Isaiah 55: 10-11 says, “Asrepparttar 140336 rain andrepparttar 140337 snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without wateringrepparttar 140338 earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed forrepparttar 140339 sower and bread forrepparttar 140340 eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieverepparttar 140341 purpose for which I sent it.” (NIV) The rain comes torepparttar 140342 earth one way and returns torepparttar 140343 heavens another way. Yet it does not return without accomplishing God’s purpose.

The river of life flows to us fromrepparttar 140344 Throne of God one way, flows through us in purpose, and returns to God in thanksgiving, worship, and praise. I thank God forrepparttar 140345 river of life. In worshippingrepparttar 140346 Lord, I’m releasingrepparttar 140347 river of life back to Him as a tribute of praise. The water comes to me, through me, and back to God. I’m connected! How about you?

Four questions with Bible answers stand before you. What say you? Do you know that God made you with desires? If you had no desire for joy, you would never seek out joy. God has made you with a hole in your heart. That’s right. It’s a hole that can be patched only with God Himself. You are made to thirst. The thirstier you are, repparttar 140348 more He satisfies your thirst. Won’t you come to Jesus? He isrepparttar 140349 water of Eternal Life. He is moving to you by His Holy Spirit. Reach out, and take a drink. It’s free, and you may have all you want.

Keeprepparttar 140350 faith. Stayrepparttar 140351 course. Jesus is coming soon.

Stay inrepparttar 140352 water.

Beauty and Ecumenicism

Thus one who truly loves will let all things and thoughts go free and hope to sharerepparttar beauty of 'what is'. The Cathars had great 'brothers' inrepparttar 140274 Sufis who few people inrepparttar 140275 world are ready to acceptrepparttar 140276 wisdom of in that war-torn realm of misogyny we callrepparttar 140277 Middle East. In my limited appreciation forrepparttar 140278 beauty of Jesus I see him beingrepparttar 140279 kind of person who learned and changed throughout each day and therefore allrepparttar 140280 time he spent on earth. Each moment is a 'Zen' opportunity forrepparttar 140281 'greater good'. But how many of our ways of organizing social behavior really wish good for each individual? There is no beauty in more of any THING; rather beauty exists inrepparttar 140282 fullness of each and EVERY thing. Oh yes, repparttar 140283 turn of phrases and eloquence that waxes and wanes poetic can be a joy which inrepparttar 140284 crevices of thought are beauty-full but are they really beauty when they seek to arrange MORE forrepparttar 140285 politician and his cronies or platform? Alexander is saidrepparttar 140286 first to have declared himself Divine while alive. We are in truth, all Divine. It is a divine comedy to be sure, this thing we call life.
