The parable and scriptures above clearly imply issue of destiny, and relationship between identity and destiny. An identity crisis sends one's destiny into 'sleep mode'. The truth of 'destiny' may be hard to be accepted by one's intellect but is easily embraced by one's faith. Destiny could be either corporate or personal-it is on latter that we will focus. With respect to this issue, there are two main schools of thought. The first affirms that God is Master of one's destiny while second insists that man is master of his destiny. It is humble view of this writer that reality is that of a 'partnership' in which God is 'senior partner' and man is 'junior partner'. Just as man was not created to be God's 'robot',God is not man's 'master computer'. Every person is precious and unique in sight of God despite anyone's present social status which may be favourable or not. To activate this 'partnership',each person has to be reconciled to God by faith in Jesus Christ as one's personal Lord and Saviour (2 Cor.5:20)[one's first love] even if one claims to already know one's destiny. The reason for reconcilation is that everyone was born in sin,and sin estranges us from God who is our 'senior partner' (Rom 3:23;6:23). Upon activation of this 'partnership',one should prayerfully and sincerely consider following V's as keys to fulfill one's destiny:- 1. Vision:-This is mental picture of one's destiny even without supernatural phenomena (Prov.29:18a;Acts 26:19). 2. Vigour:-This is physical, mental, and spiritual strengths to make one's destiny a reality even when facing opposition (Isa 26:4;Zech 4;6). 3. Virtue:-This is personal integrity that is Christ-like. This secures and maximises one's chances of fulfillment (Gal 5:22-23;2 Pet 1:2-11). This is one key that is so easily neglected, ignored or despised throughout human history and dire consequences affect not only individual but others too. While these keys are not exclusive, they are essential to discovery, pursuit, and fulfillment of destiny. For any destiny that seems 'trapped' or 'lost',in Jesus Christ there is complete deliverance and restoration! When all other hopes fail, hope in God never fails!!! 1 Corinthians 7:24 (King James Version) verse 24 "Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God."

Proverbs 23:26(KJV) "My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways." The turning point of battle is when a person gives his/her heart to Jesus Christ to cleanse it with his precious blood(Rev.1:5) and then make it his palace, and his throne as person's King. Without this cleansing and conversion, the human heart outside grace of God is naturally vulnerable to attack and effect of 'viruses'(Jer.17:9). Eph.4:27(NIV) "and do not give devil a foothold." God's 'anti-virus software' is very practical in handling any kind of 'virus'. Firstly God offers himself as shield('the personal firewall') of every person in Christ-Gen.15:1;Psalm 3:3. Secondly,in Lord God every follower of Christ has responsibility to allow in his/her heart peace of God to rule(Col.3:15),and word of Christ to dwell(Col.3:16). Thirdly, being strong in Lord and power of his might(Eph.6:10) each Christian needs to put and keep on armour of God(Eph.6:11-18),and to fight 'viruses' using spiritual weapons(2 Cor.10:3-6) as concisely discussed in an earlier article 'making an impact' Proverbs 14:30(KJV) "A sound heart is life of flesh: but envy rottenness of bones." Finally, for anyone whose heart/mind seems to be corrupted by these 'viruses' to point of ill-health,God has covenanted himself through Jesus Christ to his people as our healer(2 Peter.2:24). The healing process could seem gradual or sudden. For this process to be effective, one needs to allow God as one's healer to choose and use various agents/agencies. The following should be of help:- The love, understanding, and prayers of trusted family members and friends(Mark 2:3). Proper, and sound counselling(Prov.11:14). Casting out of demons(evil spirits) if and when their presence and activity are discerned{not speculated}(Mark 1:34). Moreover, since God is never in a hurry, one should be patient with him and his timing if 'an instant cure' has not been experienced! 2 Tim.1:7(KJV) "For God hath not given us spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."
