The Water of Life

Asrepparttar Father knoweth me, even so know Irepparttar 126562 Father: and I lay down my life forrepparttar 126563 sheep. Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even asrepparttar 126564 Father said unto me, so I speak. I amrepparttar 126565 way, repparttar 126566 truth, andrepparttar 126567 life: no man cometh untorepparttar 126568 Father, but by me.

As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know theerepparttar 126569 only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus isrepparttar 126570 Christ, repparttar 126571 Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also torepparttar 126572 Gentiles granted repentance unto life. (If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.) Who also hath made us able ministers ofrepparttar 126573 new testament; not ofrepparttar 126574 letter, but ofrepparttar 126575 spirit: forrepparttar 126576 letter killeth, butrepparttar 126577 spirit giveth life. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.

Isrepparttar 126578 law then againstrepparttar 126579 promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been byrepparttar 126580 law. For he that soweth to his flesh shall ofrepparttar 126581 flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth torepparttar 126582 Spirit shall ofrepparttar 126583 Spirit reap life everlasting. For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise ofrepparttar 126584 life that now is, and of that which is to come. Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation againstrepparttar 126585 time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life. But is now made manifest byrepparttar 126586 appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light throughrepparttar 126587 gospel: in hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised beforerepparttar 126588 world began; that being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according torepparttar 126589 hope of eternal life.

Blessed isrepparttar 126590 man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receiverepparttar 126591 crown of life, whichrepparttar 126592 Lord hath promised to them that love him. According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, throughrepparttar 126593 knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.

That which was fromrepparttar 126594 beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, ofrepparttar 126595 Word of life; (Forrepparttar 126596 life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was withrepparttar 126597 Father, and was manifested unto us). For all that is inrepparttar 126598 world, repparttar 126599 lust ofrepparttar 126600 flesh, andrepparttar 126601 lust ofrepparttar 126602 eyes, andrepparttar 126603 pride of life, is not ofrepparttar 126604 Father, but is ofrepparttar 126605 world.

And this isrepparttar 126606 promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we loverepparttar 126607 brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. Hereby perceive werepparttar 126608 love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives forrepparttar 126609 brethren.

And this isrepparttar 126610 record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hathrepparttar 126611 Son hath life; and he that hath notrepparttar 126612 Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe onrepparttar 126613 name ofrepparttar 126614 Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe onrepparttar 126615 name ofrepparttar 126616 Son of God.

And we know thatrepparttar 126617 Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This isrepparttar 126618 true God, and eternal life. Keep yourselves inrepparttar 126619 love of God, looking forrepparttar 126620 mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

He that hath an ear, let him hear whatrepparttar 126621 Spirit saith untorepparttar 126622 churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat ofrepparttar 126623 tree of life, which is inrepparttar 126624 midst ofrepparttar 126625 paradise of God.

And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, repparttar 126626 beginning andrepparttar 126627 end. I will give unto him that is athirst ofrepparttar 126628 fountain ofrepparttar 126629 water of life freely.

And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out ofrepparttar 126630 throne of God and ofrepparttar 126631 Lamb. Inrepparttar 126632 midst ofrepparttar 126633 street of it, and on either side ofrepparttar 126634 river, was thererepparttar 126635 tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: andrepparttar 126636 leaves ofrepparttar 126637 tree were forrepparttar 126638 healing ofrepparttar 126639 nations.

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right torepparttar 126640 tree of life, and may enter in throughrepparttar 126641 gates intorepparttar 126642 city.

Andrepparttar 126643 Spirit andrepparttar 126644 bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him takerepparttar 126645 water of life freely. Glimpses of God © by Joyce C.
