The Training Baby

So however educated and knowledgeable a person is: not all is as straightforward as it seems!

I love my son. He is such a character full of life and energy, full of cheek and smile!

He has taught me that adults are so bogged down with trying to wade through life that we can no longer enjoy that which is around us! We walk around and through daily life with chips, worries and problems weighing us down as ifrepparttar whole world is resting precariously on our backs. Looking at my son, I realize that what we do in life is crazy; we grow older in a manner that builds problems on top of problems. We are all so desperate to be atrepparttar 110195 top ofrepparttar 110196 ladder as regards material possessions or status, working harder and harder to earnrepparttar 110197 money to buyrepparttar 110198 latest in technological advance, so rushed and harried to get there beforerepparttar 110199 next door neighbor that we forget what life is all about. I buy my son toys, I bought him this all singing, all dancing red thing that had mirrors and handles and all sorts of jingling things on it. The lady inrepparttar 110200 shop told me that it wasrepparttar 110201 most popular toy they had in stock and that it would keeprepparttar 110202 baby occupied for hours. When I gave it to my son he looked at it with immediate wonderment, picked it up and neatly dropped it overrepparttar 110203 side of his cot! He is only six months old for ……..sake! Anyway, he dropped it, thus discarding this ultra modern toy from his life and since then he has neither looked at it nor even acknowledged its presence. He lovesrepparttar 110204 remote control though, even better he loves this tiny little one-dollar squeaky toy that looks like a pregnant hippopotamus!

My son taught me that it is only our own fault that we liverepparttar 110205 way we do, burdened and weighted down. So much pleasure can be gained from so little, yet as adults we want so much more yet never quite reach a degree of satisfaction or happiness that can be maintained for longer than a day!

My son also taught me that he can fill a nappy faster than I can recover from changingrepparttar 110206 last one, babies really control their parents rather than us controlling them and screaming isrepparttar 110207 closest emotion to laughing hysterically!

My son also told me to love unhindered and without thought or care for anything else inrepparttar 110208 world.

Thanks for everything butrepparttar 110209 pram son!

Mirrors of Reality

Written by Michelle Jacobson

Continued from page 1

To seerepparttar real image ourselves we're to read what He's said. The mirror of reality actually changes us! When we look into what God has said we learn who we are and more.

In 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 we are told what love is...

What we are as children of God.

We're to be like our Father God (Ephesians 1:5). The word "followers" inrepparttar 110194 verse fromrepparttar 110195 Greek language means to "mimic".

If you've ever watched young kids and compared them to their parents, you'll see how they imitate them in a lot of ways. God designed this and wants us as His children to dorepparttar 110196 same. We're to mimic God... He is love (1John 4:8).

That can be an overwhelming thought! It can easily be taken as a list of do's and don'ts. Inrepparttar 110197 physical realm it's really impossible to do a good job of that allrepparttar 110198 time! But inrepparttar 110199 spiritual realm God already did this for us!

When we look to Jesus and keep our eyes on Him we see changes in ourselves taking place with little effort on our parts! He changes us intorepparttar 110200 reality that He sees in us!

Keep your focus on reality! Live in God's Word... It'll stayrepparttar 110201 same forever!
