The Source of All Disease

Another important concept to consider is that we all should be actively involved in maintaining our health. It is an ongoing process and we must always be increasing our commitment to it. Most people take good health for granted - something we are given and don't have to take care of. This is a ridiculous notion, but it is convenient. By turning a blind eye to our health we have more time forrepparttar supposedly important things like making lots of money.

That money of course is worthless if we don't haverepparttar 134851 good health to enjoy it. It is very convenient to hand our wealth over to somebody else withrepparttar 134852 demand "you fix me". This is further acknowledgement that we don't want to be responsible about our own health and this further perpetuatesrepparttar 134853 fantasy of "mystery illness" - germs that strike you down at random.

The Bible has an interesting comment on this. It states that "the curse causeless, shall not come". Simply put, this means that no disease happens by accident. So,repparttar 134854 sooner we accept responsibility for our health and get on with "healing ourselves",repparttar 134855 sooner we will be able to help others with their own healing process.

At present orthodox medicine is based on an entirely incorrect premise - that illness and disease are separate from you, and that you have no control over these misfortunes. This does not recogniserepparttar 134856 role ofrepparttar 134857 body's immune system andrepparttar 134858 powerful self-regenerating capacity ofrepparttar 134859 body. Fortunately, this incorrect thinking is changing. Similarlyrepparttar 134860 popular view of health and illness is that you are either one orrepparttar 134861 other. That is you are either sick or you are well.

The fact is that we are all in varying stages of wellness or unwellness, depending on which way you look at it. Illness isrepparttar 134862 last stage ofrepparttar 134863 problem. You have already ignoredrepparttar 134864 early warning signals of tiredness, falling energy, mental confusion, irritability, indigestion ... whatever.

You haven't been looking after yourself and your body was unable to defend itself against an invader. Or your body has been allowed to slip into a chronic degenerative state. At this point, there is little use in trying to attackrepparttar 134865 invader. Your state of illness is a sign that your body is run down and not coping. It is virtually waving a red flag and saying "Please look at me, I'm not coping".

The run down state isrepparttar 134866 CAUSE ofrepparttar 134867 problem, andrepparttar 134868 disease isrepparttar 134869 EFFECT.

If you only treatrepparttar 134870 effect, repparttar 134871 problem will occur again either in this form or another. You have to identifyrepparttar 134872 problem and providerepparttar 134873 body withrepparttar 134874 right conditions for it to get on with its own defence and healing.

Consider what takes place if you break your leg. A doctor sets it and it heals. But who doesrepparttar 134875 healing? Notrepparttar 134876 doctor. But he did providerepparttar 134877 body withrepparttar 134878 right conditions for it to heal itself. If you were also provided with good food andrepparttar 134879 appropriate additional nutrients, repparttar 134880 task of healing would have been completed even more quickly and efficiently.

You would have providedrepparttar 134881 optimal conditions to rebuildrepparttar 134882 break. These points are fundamental to natural healing philosophy. Indeed, this isrepparttar 134883 only true healing.

Wholeness

Health can be defined as "wholeness". This means living fully and rhythmically with every part of our being. In ancient times this concept of wholeness was called "holiness", and it isrepparttar 134884 real root meaning ofrepparttar 134885 word.

Anyone who lives in only part of his or her being becomes unwhole or unholy : in short unhealthy. The more we are out of resonance with nature, repparttar 134886 more we suffer disease and pain.

Is it Irritable Bowel Syndrome or Undiagnosed Celiac Disease?

Written by Peter Berlin

Continued from page 1

The only acceptable treatment for celiac disease is strict adherence to a 100% gluten-free diet for life. That measure can prevent almost all complications caused byrepparttar disease – without medication – asrepparttar 134836 small intestine will steadily heal and start absorbing needed nutrients and, therefore, eliminate painful symptoms.

But a gluten-free diet is not easy. It means avoiding all products that contain wheat, rye, and barley or any of their derivatives. That challenge can prove to be a daunting task as many hidden sources of gluten are found inrepparttar 134837 ingredients of several processed foods. However, repparttar 134838 health rewards are tremendous.

Being diagnosed with celiac is a life-changing experience. Imagine having to give up bread, pasta, and beer among other things. Where can you go out to eat? Where can you vacation? Where can you find substitutes forrepparttar 134839 foods you crave? The doctors will not haverepparttar 134840 answers to these questions. The best source of information on living with celiac is hearing from others who have “been there, done that.”

If you have been suffering from intestinal problems and have not gotten relief, find out all you can about celiac disease. Educate your doctor about it. It can be diagnosed with a simple blood test. There are many support groups acrossrepparttar 134841 country and several books that can give you information and put you onrepparttar 134842 road to recovery.

Remember, relief may be just a change of diet away.
