A firm representation of human conscienceness was never better relayed than through words of Abraham Lincoln's second innaugural address: "...With malice toward none, with charity for all, with firmness in right as God gives us to see right, let us strive on to finish work we are in, to bind up nation's wounds, to care for him who shall have borne battle and for his widow and his orphan, to do all which may achieve and cherish a just and lasting peace among ourselves and with all nations."

Is it that peace and compassion go hand in hand? Or do we, as a country, continue to walk path of separation and strife? Aesop's Fable, 'The Eagle and Arrow,' paints a future depiction of present-day society. Its translative moral is as follows: "We often give our enemies means for our own destruction."

In closing, does Human conscience still exist? Yes, good news is that many of us still believe in compassion, peace, hope and sincerity. If we can manage to manifest mutual feelings and actions of brotherly love, and good will toward all men, then holistically speaking, we will have altered course of not only our national destiny, but positive fate of world as well.

4. TIMING The timing may seem off between gestures and words. If facial expression comes after verbal statement ("I am so angry with you right now" ... pause ... and then angry expression), it provides further evidence of potential deceit.

5. EXPRESSIONS In some cases a liar's gesture or facial expression won't always match their words. Examples such as frowning when saying "I love you" or tightly clenched fists while stating appreciation or pleasure spring to mind.

Expression will also regularly be limited to mouth area, rather than whole face when person is feigning certain emotions - happiness, surprise, awe etc.

6. POSTURE The liar may be reluctant to face accuser and may turn head or shift body away. If a lie has been committed accused will probably slouch; he is unlikely to stand tall with his arms out or outstretched.

There could also be movement away from accuser, possibly in direction of nearest exit.
