The Entrepreneur's Toolbox

Openness to change - Many people resist change. As entrepreneurs, we must embrace it. By putting a vision, idea or innovation out intorepparttar world, we expand what's possible, and in doing so, changerepparttar 105366 status quo.

Recognition of self-sabotage - We all do it. At some point in time, we've all sabotaged ourselves out of fear. The key to dealing with self-sabotage is to recognize it. Signals to recognizing self-sabotage: You notice yourself comparing yourself to others, you judge yourself as not being good enough, or you hear your "inner critic" saying things like "soon everyone will realize what a fraud you are."

Head and Heart - To make sound decisions, you need both. When we only listen to one, we list torepparttar 105367 side and veer off course, repparttar 105368 way a car does when it's out of alignment and you let go ofrepparttar 105369 steering wheel. Often there's a misconception that heart, or emotion, doesn't belong in business. It very much does. Your ability to be aware of and use your emotions effectively will aid in your success.

Honoring your gifts - I'm convinced that fully acknowledging your gifts - to yourself, first and foremost - will catapult your business and your life into bold new arenas. Here's why: When you don't acknowledge your gift of, for example, building businesses or innovating new technologies, you hold back from full self expression. When you don't acknowledge your gifts, you can't capitalize on your innate human resources. YOU are your business' most valuable resource. Honor what you don't do well - In fact, know it well and compensate for it. Too often, I hear people beat themselves overrepparttar 105370 head with statements like, 'Well, I should do my own bookkeeping" whenrepparttar 105371 last time they balanced their checkbook was 1978. Know your weaknesses. Compensate for them by hiring or bartering or getting someone to dorepparttar 105372 task for you.

Each one of us carries these tools around with us at all times. The question is whether we tap into them or not. Entrepreneurship is a process of self-discovery. Atrepparttar 105373 same time that you introduce a new product or process intorepparttar 105374 world, you uncover new awareness about yourself. Use these tools to not only grow your business, but yourself.

Finding Your Own Profit Trails There is one aspect ofrepparttar Internet market that is new and vastly different from anything that has ever been presented inrepparttar 105364 history of open market commerce. Opportunities for repparttar 105365 small budget entrepreneur are literally boundless, and repparttar 105366 potential for business growth is no longer limited by repparttar 105367 sky. It reaches into outer space!

Opportunities for you to create multiple profit trails are literally wide open - limited only by your own degrees of desire, motivation, and ingenuity. And every action you take in developing your business should create another profit trail that leads straight back to you.

Now, rather than bore you with a bunch of theory, let me show yourepparttar 105368 real profit trails I have leading back to me as of this writing:

=> Direct sales of products I have developed.

=> Direct sales of resale rights products I've bought.

=> Promotion of other people's products for affiliate commissions - meaning dozens of excellent "mini-trails" and an unlimited potential to create more.

=> Monthly residual income from referrals I've made to various programs, webhosting services, etc. - again, repparttar 105369 potential to create more "mini-trails" is limited only by my own degrees of desire, motivation, and ingenuity.

=> Sales of my own skills as a service for fee - ie. adcopy writing, webmastering, etc.

Likerepparttar 105370 pharmacist, I'm not depending on any single profit trail to provide my total income. And I have more trails in repparttar 105371 works.

If you're not already doing so, I suggest you get busy right away, and create as many profit trails as it takes to get you torepparttar 105372 top of your own mountain. You're sure to enjoyrepparttar 105373 view.
