Further uprepparttar Path, just offrepparttar 126723 side a spell, was a camp. A camp of people, setting up camp! Tents going up and tents coming down, all atrepparttar 126724 same time. People mulling around, organizing this and organizing that. Some were starting little camp fires and some were fixing food, all intorepparttar 126725 activities of a camp. Scattered throughoutrepparttar 126726 area were many such camp sites, full of people. Some staying in groups withinrepparttar 126727 camp, some hanging aroundrepparttar 126728 fringes waiting for an invitation to come on in. But, all were very preoccupied in camping. Strange as it may sound, repparttar 126729 Path was always right there along side of each camp. Every once in awhile a few would pack up and head back out ontorepparttar 126730 Path, by two's, threes, or foursomes. Not many ventured off alone fromrepparttar 126731 camp. Some looked as if they would never leaverepparttar 126732 camp; they has settled into it so securely. These were in forrepparttar 126733 long haul and had claimed their piece ofrepparttar 126734 camp personally.

Swinging my attention torepparttar 126735 other end ofrepparttar 126736 Path, into my sight came people running blithely in such stupendous freedom. Effortlessly running and talking atrepparttar 126737 same time, each jogging along with obvious joy. Some were calling to others to join them, some beckoned with waves ofrepparttar 126738 arm. Some didn't care and just shot ahead of them all, faster and faster they went, till out of sight! A few would back track and try to join with others. It looked like each was enjoyingrepparttar 126739 run as much asrepparttar 126740 company ofrepparttar 126741 others. Not a one looked tired or sweaty , or even drained, fromrepparttar 126742 continuous exercise. All must have been well trained athletes.

Seeing a valley come into sight, was next. It was full of trees andrepparttar 126743 Path stretched along side a stream as it made its way throughrepparttar 126744 trees that became a forest further on. All looked peaceful, butrepparttar 126745 ones onrepparttar 126746 Path inrepparttar 126747 valley were walking very slow and meticulous. Each step, by step was heavy and purposeful. Little talking was heard and each person onrepparttar 126748 Path did not look up much. Many took long cool drinks fromrepparttar 126749 stream and splashedrepparttar 126750 refreshing water onto their faces. This seemed to revive them so they continued on, looking towardrepparttar 126751 end ofrepparttar 126752 valley ever so intently.

Next came a mountain and many people were scattered everywhere onrepparttar 126753 Path. Climbing, climbing, climbing. Each looking earnestly torepparttar 126754 top ofrepparttar 126755 mountain. It was a good thing they hadrepparttar 126756 Path to follow, sincerepparttar 126757 mountain was vast and it would have presented a much more difficult task. Thankfullyrepparttar 126758 Path was well kept, so each traveled steadily upward. Many held staffs in their hands and used them to lean on to help maintain their balance. The staffs appeared strong and useful as they dug intorepparttar 126759 Path and helped each one gain more ground and keep their feet sure onrepparttar 126760 Path in front of them. None stumbled or fell, but progressed step by step. It seemed that rest was not thought of, justrepparttar 126761 strong determination to get torepparttar 126762 top ofrepparttar 126763 mountain persisted in each person.

Once atrepparttar 126764 peak, each would linger in small groups where they would smile and shake hands and share some of their experiences alongrepparttar 126765 Path. Never too many clutteredrepparttar 126766 mountain peak, since new ones would constantly arrive. No one even sat down to rest. Each seemed eager to keep their pace going and startrepparttar 126767 downward trek torepparttar 126768 bottom ofrepparttar 126769 mountain. Again, these must be some more athletes. Just watching them seemed exhausting to me, but I knew deep down inside it wasn't even phasing them! Another great sight to behold.

Asrepparttar 126770 Path left my sight, I returned back into my chair contemplating withrepparttar 126771 Lord. What on Earth did I just see? It all happened in just a few minutes, yet it felt like it had been much, much longer. Was that a mini vision? Was it a vision at all? My mind had travelled into a supernatural scene. My mind had travelled? What on Earth!

No it was not of this Earth... it was a special revelational truth that set me free. Never again have I questioned this one or that one. .. this Church or that Church. I tend torepparttar 126772 Path that is set before me! Hopefully I can share a few miles alongrepparttar 126773 way with a few dear friends. But, I remain ever so thankful for The Path that was shown to me andrepparttar 126774 truth that set me free - free to keep on going!

The Emmaus Journal - "Strangers In A Strange Land"

Written by C.L. Mareydt

Continued from page 1

Our Brother Paul continued to exhort and rebukerepparttar early Believer's as he missioned from city to city, telling them not to be conformed torepparttar 126722 world; but to be constantly transformed byrepparttar 126723 renewing of their minds. (Romans 12:2) Renewing ofrepparttar 126724 minds to what? Yes,repparttar 126725 Gospel of Yahshua (Jesus), but more intently and purposely, that they would discontinue to think and act likerepparttar 126726 rest ofrepparttar 126727 world they had been brought out of thru Yahshua's (Jesus's) salvation. Meaning quit plainly, stoprepparttar 126728 pagan and idolatrous ways once walked in out of ignorance. Come out and be separated withrepparttar 126729 power of The Holy Spirit and do not reflect or give homage torepparttar 126730 pagan practices ofrepparttar 126731 world. Whether in Church (Synagogues) or out of Church. Whether inrepparttar 126732 Spirit or out ofrepparttar 126733 Spirit. Whether being in bonds or not. Whether in sufferings or not. They were instructed to showrepparttar 126734 fruits of repentance and to live a life now that portrayedrepparttar 126735 spiritual transformation that Yahshua (Jesus) had provided. To daily live from a heart that is cleansed of worldly pollution's. Whether from withinrepparttar 126736 religious order orrepparttar 126737 secular order. Yahshua (Jesus) himself admonished people to observe and do asrepparttar 126738 scribes and Pharisees taught regardingrepparttar 126739 Torah, but not to do what they performed in their daily lives. For their hearts were still withinrepparttar 126740 pollution's of religious order and worldliness. (Matthew 23)

This same scenario has, and perhaps has never, ceased down thrurepparttar 126741 church ages. Paganism still abounds in cloaked illusions full of deceit. We are experiencing many of its unbridled root symptoms that are emerging at an alarming speed for all eyes to see now and all ears to hear. Strangers in a strange land? Indeed! And so we must be. Or else we will be swept along inrepparttar 126742 tidal wave of lip service with our own pagan traditions and erroneous religious teachings. A stranger in a strange land; according torepparttar 126743 dictates of our Faith we must be. A stranger in a strange land; according torepparttar 126744 resolution of our service and work we must be. So if you seem to feel like a foreigner in a strange land, realize it. You are! Rejoice in it, for it isrepparttar 126745 results of your salvation. Embrace it, remembering you are on a journey toward your real home. Be glad you remained as a stranger in a strange land to obtain you rightful destination prepared for you with Yahshua (Jesus).
