One such company is Spread The Word Ministries. Based in Arizona, this Christian-oriented company has become largest online Christian bookseller, with over 150,000 Christian related products, surpassing giant online bookseller, Amazon.com, with approximately 60,000. Of 5 billion dollars generated by Christian booksellers industry, only 12% goes back to support ministry. That’s almost a 50% loss to Walmart, who generated 20% in Christian retail sales last year. So concept of Spread The Word is simple - redirecting Christian spending back to Christian community. The vision and mission of Spread The Word is clear -"Keeping Christian Dollars In Christ's Kingdom." By providing this funding mechanism, thousands of families, churches and ministries are now benefiting from program. With their no monthly fee, no annual fee and no quotas to meet, many Christians who have been praying for an honest, legitimate way to earn income, while pursuing their ministerial calling, see Spread The Word as an answer to prayer. | | How to Journal for the SoulWritten by Patrice Fagnant-MacArthur
Continued from page 1
What should your journal look like? That is entirely up to you. A simple notebook can do, as can any blank book with lines sold everywhere from local dollar store to high end leather bound variety at upscale bookstore. Pick something that you will treasure and want to write in, but not so intimidating that you fear your writing in it will ?ruin? it. Some of you may be tempted to use your computer. This can work fine if you resist urge to use ?delete? key at every turn. This is not supposed to be a grammatically perfect and spell-checked document but rather an honest look at one?s life. If you do use a computer, however, I would suggest printing out your entry to keep someplace else. Computer files are notorious for getting lost or destroyed and you may want to look back on those pages years from now to see where you have been and how far you have come! In any case, a journal should be a record of journey. We come to know God through our experiences of daily life. A spiritual journal offers a place for reflection and can be a very useful tool in fostering your relationship with God.
