Abdiel isrepparttar 126833 only angel of all assembled beforerepparttar 126834 archangel, that challenges Lucifer's statement (that he is not a created being; that he is equal with God). After challenging Lucifer, Abdiel flew away, refusing to have anything more to do withrepparttar 126835 wicked archangel, thus becomingrepparttar 126836 only angel in Lucifer's legions to leave. We all have our own devil or devils to face at times in our life and we could certainly use some ofrepparttar 126837 strength of Abdiel; to stand up to our devils and strike them withrepparttar 126838 sword of truth. Pray to this angel when you are faced with devils that you cannot overcome by yourself. He will come to your aid.. Aboutrepparttar 126839 Author

Why Do We Lack Character

Written by G.A Parvez

Continued from page 1

Rational thought fully endorses Quranic concept of character. The famous writer Hastings Rashdall says:"That there is one absolute standard of values, which isrepparttar same for all rational beings, is just what Morality means."(The Theory of Good and Evil, Vol. II, page 286)

On page 211 ofrepparttar 126832 book he agrees that these values cannot be devised by human intellect but have been revealed to man and says:

"Certainly it (moral law) is to be found, wholly and completely, in no individual human consciousness. Men actually think differently about moral questions, and there is no empirical reason for supposing that they will ever do otherwise".

Basis of Character.

Character and human dignity are closely connected with a firm belief inrepparttar 126833 following:--

(a)that man is not merely his body, but has also a Personality whose integration is life's real purpose;

(b)that as there are laws forrepparttar 126834 development of Body, so there are laws forrepparttar 126835 integration of Personality, called permanent values;

(c)that permanent values cannot be discovered by human intellect but have been revealed by God; and

(d)that every action leaves an indelible impression onrepparttar 126836 doer's Personality.

Law of Development.

One ofrepparttar 126837 laws governing development of Personality is that development proceeds in proportion to what one makes available from his earnings forrepparttar 126838 development of others. One who believes in human Personality works his best for earning a living, utilizes as much of it as would furnish basic needs of life and makesrepparttar 126839 rest available forrepparttar 126840 development of fellow beings. Judged by physical standardsrepparttar 126841 process brings nothing but loss. If one knows that what is left after meeting his needs would pass to others, why should he work forrepparttar 126842 surplus. He should normally work for procuring his needs only and then relax. The reasoning is logical and a satisfactory answer torepparttar 126843 argument is not easy to produce. Russia facedrepparttar 126844 self-made problem and inrepparttar 126845 absence of an adequate answer had no alternative to hanging an iron curtain along its borders. Quranic concept, however, provides an answer and by doing so establishesrepparttar 126846 superiority ofrepparttar 126847 Quranic Social Order overrepparttar 126848 other social orders evolved by man. The establishment ofrepparttar 126849 Quranic Social Order isrepparttar 126850 work of a group of "Mom-e-neen", that is people who are rationally convinced:
