Ten Commandments of Goal Setting

7. Thou Shall Have Fun: goals won’t do you much good if they just frustrate you and make you feel guilt or a sense of failure. Have fun with them, reward yourself, and when things get tough, take a break and do something novel and entertaining.

8. Thou Shall Believe: many of us set goals we don’t truly believe we can reach. Just think ofrepparttar resolutions you made during New Years. Have you ever followed through on one of those? If your goal is to be healthy and fit, and you can’t imagine being able to exercise every other day and stay away from chocolates, then you have to rework your goal into something believable for you. Otherwise, you’ll only frustrate yourself.

9. Thou Shall Seek Support: most of us hate to admit it, but we often won’t achieve our goals solely on our own. Depending onrepparttar 123581 goal, you may need a professional mentor, a coach, a close friend, or an inspiring book. Don’t always try to achieve your goals alone.

10. Thou Shalt Not Give Up: what if you still don’t achieve your goal? Don’t give up. Maybe you’re concentrating too hard on reachingrepparttar 123582 goal and losing sight of why you set it inrepparttar 123583 first place. Not everyone succeeds by setting goals. If you tryrepparttar 123584 above, and they don’t work for you, then try something else. The most important thing is to be passionate and have fun. You’ll get there.

The Ultimate Reason To Become A Millionaire

Written by Mike Litman

Continued from page 1

Ask yourself:

How must I think in order to become a millionaire?

Then begin thinking that way.

Ask yourself:

What kind of people do I need to associate with so I can achieve my goals faster?

Then strive to become a person those people will want to be around.

None of us can afford to underestimaterepparttar value and importance of this reason to become a millionaire.

In other words, repparttar 123580 greatest value you will receive by becoming a millionaire isrepparttar 123581 person you have to become to make it inrepparttar 123582 first place. That isrepparttar 123583 greatest reward of your journey to success.

In fact, Jim Rohn wasn'trepparttar 123584 only millionaire who helped me to realizerepparttar 123585 power of this lesson. A couple of years ago, Chicken Soup forrepparttar 123586 Soul co-author, Jack Canfield gave merepparttar 123587 same lesson when I sat down with him.

Jack said, "It doesn't make a lot of difference to become a millionaire. I've done that many times over and I can tell you that it's nice to have a house and a car that doesn't fall apart and all that."

"But, what's more important is who did I have to become in order to become a millionaire?"

"I had to learn how to overcome my fears. I had to learn how to talk in front of groups. I had to learn how to plan a speech. I had to learn how to ask people I was initially afraid of to loan me money, etc."

"All of that was scary. But, when I did it and survived it, I was no longer afraid to do it inrepparttar 123588 future. Now you can take away my house, my money, my car and everything, and it wouldn't matter. I know how to create more of those things because of who I've become NOT what I possess."

What these millionaires taught me is priceless.

The point is you must go after your goals and dreams with a burning desire because you will begin to see a transformation in yourself. A greater self-confidence and belief in yourself will berepparttar 123589 first of many rewards.

Jack Canfield went on to say, "You want to set goals that are high enough that inrepparttar 123590 process of achieving those goals, you become someone worth being."

Now THAT is what I callrepparttar 123591 ultimate reason to become a millionaire!
