Talking About Death And Dying Written by Judi Singleton
Continued from page 1 The fear of death is rooted in belief that spirit is superior to matter. We are made up with matter and we are constantly interacting with nature. Rocks, trees, plants, animals, and other humans are all made up of matter. We are so much a part of this earth that we have created that we could not lose touch with it. We are one with nature and all things. If you believe as I do that we create our world then you can write to your future self and create aging process, process of death, you can resolve your fears. By using affirmations, journal writing, visualizations, prayers and meditation.

Lance, originally a triathlete, began sport of road racing in 1990. With great coaching and commitment he quickly became a rising star. At beginning of career, he won a number of world championship races and a few stages of tour de france. His dream, like many other road racers, was to win full tour. In Atlanta Olympic Games he finished 12th in road race and 6th in time trial. Not bad, but below his potential. It was later found that during this race, he was suffering from testicular cancer and by time he was examined, it had spread to his lungs and his brain. He was given a 40% chance of survival. After a year of treatment and recovery, Lance returned to sport. He has won every Tour de France since 1999. In July this year he will attempt for a record seventh consecutive win in his final race before retirement.
