Success is Just a Question Away

Next, make a list of people who can help you. You want to make surerepparttar people you ask are able to give you what you want. For instance, you wouldn't want to ask for a $100,000 loan from somebody who is having a hard time payingrepparttar 106779 rent each month. You could ask all day long and never getrepparttar 106780 loan! Ask people who can help you.

Before you ask, think about what value you will provide to them. For instance, you can get a person to give you a million dollars if you bring them more than a million dollars in value first.

You could ask for a loan, and you could say torepparttar 106781 person giving yourepparttar 106782 loan that in return forrepparttar 106783 loan, you will give them partial ownership in your business. This is essentially whatrepparttar 106784 stock market is onlyrepparttar 106785 companies are public as opposed to private.

Or you could say torepparttar 106786 lender that you will give them allrepparttar 106787 net profits fromrepparttar 106788 company untilrepparttar 106789 loan is paid in full, plus interest. Would you invest in such a company with this kind of deal? Many people would, and do!

What about those smaller things you need to build your business? Can you ask for help there too? Of course you can! And you must!

It makes no difference how much you know about your industry, your products, or even your business, there is always room to learn more! I realized this early on when I would meet business owners allrepparttar 106790 time who were not making any money in their businesses, yet they appeared to be very talented at their craft. Something wasn't making sense.

I studied them and discovered that while they were true experts in their chosen field, they had little or no knowledge or experience in many other areas of running and building their business. Most of these people will hang on for dear life or simply close after a short time and all they had to do was ask forrepparttar 106791 help they needed.

You see we all need help. Evenrepparttar 106792 top people in our society have a team. They have advisors, they have mastermind groups, they have coaches, mentors, role models. They have help and they are not afraid to ask for it!

You and I are too close to our businesses. We miss some obvious distinctions that could result in windfall profits because we try too hard to know it all or do it all alone.

What if you were to get a mentor? What if you were to ask somebody who knows marketing down cold, for example, to help you with your marketing? If you are struggling in that area, asking for help isrepparttar 106793 fastest way to go from being in pain to enjoying hefty profits!

And,repparttar 106794 good news is that YOU get to enjoyrepparttar 106795 benefits, repparttar 106796 credit, andrepparttar 106797 lifestyle of success because you made repparttar 106798 decision to find out what you wanted help with, who could help you, and you reached out and asked for that help.

Success does not have to be hard. Success does not have to take decades. And success can and should be yours starting right now if you are willing to open up and ask for help.

My business today is successful because I have learned how to ask for help. I know what I am building. I know where I am headed. And I know what I will need alongrepparttar 106799 way to make my dreams a reality. Wouldn't it feel great if you could help me get what I really want out of life? I know it would feel great for me to be able to help you. All you have to do is ask.

Your First Mission Statement

Written by Wild Bill Montgomery

Part 2:

Do not assume that your target market valuesrepparttar same things you do. More than likely in this stage, they do not. You must know what your target customer wants and needs, not what you think they want, need or should have. If this is your approach, you will lose. You can fight to your last breath, trying to sell or market what you think they should have, but inrepparttar 106778 end they will always beat you.

Part 3.

This is where I often see what I call "The Ego Statement". Business owners insist on using terms and technical talk thatrepparttar 106779 normal client will never understand. If you think that you're impressing them.....wrong. You are confusing them and insulting them by making them feel inadequate. Make it clear torepparttar 106780 reader/listener what they will get from your service or product.

What benefits will they gain from your product or service? Hype only will only carry you so far.

Last Minute Tip:

Do not confuse mission statements with direct advertising. I myself have used and still use "Power Words" for direct advertising, but when writing your mission statement, don't bother. This is notrepparttar 106781 place for split-second decision-making direct advertising. However, for those of you that may be interested in writing direct advertising, you can find a list of some ofrepparttar 106782 best power words at http://www.MakingProfit.com/mp/powerwords.shtml but please, don't use them here.

So, where were we... Keep working on your mission statement until it clicks. Then re-read it once in awhile, keep it updated to make sure it still clicks. If it doesn't sound perfect, update and rewrite it until it does.
