Well, I don't think I will return to my Catholic roots anytime soon but I may add a little reflection to this season by reaching out to someone in need with Gospel. We have a duty to our Lord that since we have been given this wonderful eternal life we share that love with others.

The most remarkable aspect of Lent is that it actually commemorates time Jesus was in wilderness. It was that time that temptations occurred and Jesus withstood confrontation of Devil. You and I will never be tempted by Devil; we will however be tempted by Satan as was Eve in Garden but never directly by Devil as Jesus was. What a tremendous example to us, how much did He love Father and would always do His will.

So as foliage returns to Pacific Northwest and your hometown, as spring begins, we have awesome privilege to know God and His Son Jesus Christ and His matchless Word.

It is true that there are some riches in prison epistles that may not have been known by prophets, such as His Headship, His manifestation in glory, and like. But at no time was anybody able to trace out or understand fully His riches. Look at abounding wealth of His goodness (Romans 2:4), or super abounding wealth of His grace (Ephesians 1:7), or riches or abundance of glory of this mystery (Colossians 1:27), or riches of full or abundant knowledge (Colossians 2:2).

We can say that in dispensation of mystery, God is making known His plan and purpose for ages, even those from before age-times, all centered in His Son. It is His eternal or age-time purpose in Christ.

Now since mystery of Christ and riches of Christ have been made known all through ages, then we can say of both that they have their completion and fullest exposition in revelation of mystery which had been hid in God from ages and generations.

Let us not feel that we fully know these things for they are as endless and boundless as The Lord Himself.
