Small Things

Small things. As I have learned to walk with God throughrepparttar years, He has taught me how one small act of obedience can lead to major blessings. The Bible tells us: "Unless you are faithful in small matters, you won't be faithful in large ones." (Luke 16:10 NLT).

It isrepparttar 138460 little things that can add spice to or spoil your life. Solomon said, "the little foxes spoilrepparttar 138461 vine."

That "little white lie" does hurt.

"What they don't know" may not hurt them -- but could very well hurt you.

The clerk gave you to much change? It does not belong to you. Return it.

Two cokes came out ofrepparttar 138462 machine when you paid for only one? Returnrepparttar 138463 other torepparttar 138464 vendor.

Did "something" tell you to perform an act of kindness to a stranger? Do it without question.

Learn to be faithful inrepparttar 138465 little things that (seemingly) do not matter.

Just little things. Just insignificant matters. But, it is when we are faithful inrepparttar 138466 small matters that God entrusts us with more. Be assured God will not use you to changerepparttar 138467 world until you have been faithful inrepparttar 138468 small things in your own house, on your own street, in your own town. Listen torepparttar 138469 Holy Spirit within you. Be obedient to his gentle nudgings. God wants to know that he can count on you to obey him in seemingly insignificant matters simply because he brings it to your attention. It may seem like a "small thing" to you, but truth is, nothing is "small stuff" to him.

"Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies." Mother Teresa

To the Highest Bidder (Part 1)

Yet, if you already know this, why are you living like you don't?

As many as desire to make a fair shew inrepparttar flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution forrepparttar 138322 cross of Christ. For neither they themselves who are circumcised keeprepparttar 138323 law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. Galatians 6:12-13

Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ fromrepparttar 138324 rudiments ofrepparttar 138325 world, why, as though living inrepparttar 138326 world, are ye subject to ordinances, (Touch not; taste not; handle not; Which all are to perish withrepparttar 138327 using;) afterrepparttar 138328 commandments and doctrines of men? Col. 2:20-22

Are ye so foolish? having begun inrepparttar 138329 Spirit, are ye now made perfect byrepparttar 138330 flesh? Galatians 3:3

Knowing that a man is not justified byrepparttar 138331 works ofrepparttar 138332 law, but byrepparttar 138333 faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified byrepparttar 138334 faith of Christ, and not byrepparttar 138335 works ofrepparttar 138336 law: for byrepparttar 138337 works ofrepparttar 138338 law shall no flesh be justified. Galatians 2:16

For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion torepparttar 138339 flesh, but by love serve one another. Galatians 5:13

For whatrepparttar 138340 law could not do, in that it was weak throughrepparttar 138341 flesh, God sending his own Son inrepparttar 138342 likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin inrepparttar 138343 flesh: Thatrepparttar 138344 righteousness ofrepparttar 138345 law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not afterrepparttar 138346 flesh, but afterrepparttar 138347 Spirit. For they that are afterrepparttar 138348 flesh do mindrepparttar 138349 things ofrepparttar 138350 flesh; but they that are afterrepparttar 138351 Spiritrepparttar 138352 things ofrepparttar 138353 Spirit. Romans 8:3-5

Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us inrepparttar 138354 flesh, arm yourselves likewise withrepparttar 138355 same mind: for he that hath suffered inrepparttar 138356 flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should liverepparttar 138357 rest of his time inrepparttar 138358 flesh torepparttar 138359 lusts of men, but torepparttar 138360 will of God. 1 Peter 4:1-2

So then they that are inrepparttar 138361 flesh cannot please God. But ye are not inrepparttar 138362 flesh, but inrepparttar 138363 Spirit, if so be thatrepparttar 138364 Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have notrepparttar 138365 Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Romans 8:8-9

This I say then, Walk inrepparttar 138366 Spirit, and ye shall not fulfilrepparttar 138367 lust ofrepparttar 138368 flesh. Forrepparttar 138369 flesh lusteth againstrepparttar 138370 Spirit, andrepparttar 138371 Spirit againstrepparttar 138372 flesh: and these are contraryrepparttar 138373 one torepparttar 138374 other: so that ye cannot dorepparttar 138375 things that ye would. Galatians 5:16-17

When we judge according torepparttar 138376 flesh, we pitch our own intorepparttar 138377 fire ...

And others save with fear, pulling them out ofrepparttar 138378 fire; hating evenrepparttar 138379 garment spotted byrepparttar 138380 flesh. Jude 1:23

and kill allrepparttar 138381 day long; counting them as sheep forrepparttar 138382 slaughter ...

Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger ofrepparttar 138383 judgment: But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger ofrepparttar 138384 judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger ofrepparttar 138385 council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. Matthew 5:21-22

causing us to lose our Spiritual connection.

For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass throughrepparttar 138386 fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day: and shall I be enquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saithrepparttar 138387 Lord God, I will not be enquired of by you. Ezekiel 20:31

Wounding God's children comes with a price ...

Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for inrepparttar 138388 image of God made he man. Genesis 9:6

and not even Jesus can prevent such consequences, as God will not be mocked.

Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paidrepparttar 138389 uttermost farthing. Matthew 5:26

You cannot touch God's children, perfect or not, without it touchingrepparttar 138390 heart of God ...

Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clearrepparttar 138391 guilty; visitingrepparttar 138392 iniquity ofrepparttar 138393 fathers uponrepparttar 138394 children, and uponrepparttar 138395 children's children, untorepparttar 138396 third and torepparttar 138397 fourth generation. Exodus 34:7

and, except judgment begin with us, God would have to apologize torepparttar 138398 rest ofrepparttar 138399 world.

Forrepparttar 138400 time is come that judgment must begin atrepparttar 138401 house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shallrepparttar 138402 end be of them that obey notrepparttar 138403 gospel of God? 1 Peter 4:17
