Yet, if you already know this, why are you living like you don't?
As many as desire to make a fair shew in
flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for
cross of Christ. For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep
law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. Galatians 6:12-13
Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from
rudiments of
world, why, as though living in
world, are ye subject to ordinances, (Touch not; taste not; handle not; Which all are to perish with
using;) after
commandments and doctrines of men? Col. 2:20-22
Are ye so foolish? having begun in
Spirit, are ye now made perfect by
flesh? Galatians 3:3
Knowing that a man is not justified by
works of
law, but by
faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by
faith of Christ, and not by
works of
law: for by
works of
law shall no flesh be justified. Galatians 2:16
For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to
flesh, but by love serve one another. Galatians 5:13
For what
law could not do, in that it was weak through
flesh, God sending his own Son in
likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in
flesh: That
righteousness of
law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after
flesh, but after
Spirit. For they that are after
flesh do mind
things of
flesh; but they that are after
Spirit
things of
Spirit. Romans 8:3-5
Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in
flesh, arm yourselves likewise with
same mind: for he that hath suffered in
flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live
rest of his time in
flesh to
lusts of men, but to
will of God. 1 Peter 4:1-2
So then they that are in
flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in
flesh, but in
Spirit, if so be that
Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not
Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Romans 8:8-9
This I say then, Walk in
Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil
lust of
flesh. For
flesh lusteth against
Spirit, and
Spirit against
flesh: and these are contrary
one to
other: so that ye cannot do
things that ye would. Galatians 5:16-17
When we judge according to
flesh, we pitch our own into
fire ...
And others save with fear, pulling them out of
fire; hating even
garment spotted by
flesh. Jude 1:23
and kill all
day long; counting them as sheep for
slaughter ...
Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of
judgment: But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of
judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of
council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. Matthew 5:21-22
causing us to lose our Spiritual connection.
For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through
fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day: and shall I be enquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saith
Lord God, I will not be enquired of by you. Ezekiel 20:31
Wounding God's children comes with a price ...
Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in
image of God made he man. Genesis 9:6
and not even Jesus can prevent such consequences, as God will not be mocked.
Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid
uttermost farthing. Matthew 5:26
You cannot touch God's children, perfect or not, without it touching
heart of God ...
Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear
guilty; visiting
iniquity of
fathers upon
children, and upon
children's children, unto
third and to
fourth generation. Exodus 34:7
and, except judgment begin with us, God would have to apologize to
rest of
world.
For
time is come that judgment must begin at
house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall
end be of them that obey not
gospel of God? 1 Peter 4:17
