Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you. For thus saith Lord unto house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live: Seek him that maketh seven stars and Orion, and turneth shadow of death into morning, and maketh day dark with night: that calleth for waters of sea, and poureth them out upon face of earth: The Lord is his name. Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so Lord, God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken.

Seek ye Lord, all ye meek of earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in day of Lord's anger. And inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before Lord, and to seek Lord of hosts: I will go also.

Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek Lord of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before Lord. And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all nations that come against Jerusalem. For priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek law at his mouth: for he is messenger of Lord of hosts.

Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare way before me: and Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even messenger of covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith Lord of hosts.

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate one, and love other; or else he will hold to one, and despise other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not life more than meat, and body than raiment? Behold fowls of air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider lilies of field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Wherefore, if God so clothe grass of field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

But seek ye first kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.

Strive to enter in at strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. For Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.

Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to edifying of church. For all seek their own, not things which are Jesus Christ's.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Seek ye first kingdom of God, and his righteousness ... Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children ... Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is law and prophets ... and all these things shall be added unto you ... how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
