One ofrepparttar first questions I had when I first started writing press releases was what was considered a great release? What did it consist of and how was it constructed?

Being curious, I emailed my contact at http://www.prweb.com/ and asked them if they could show me a few press releases that they considered as excellent examples.

These releases have received their editorial scores of 5 on their scale of 1 to 5; with five beingrepparttar 108624 highest.

They sent me three of them for review and you can see each one of them here:

Normally your release will be picked up by Google news within a few hours after its release. From there it will normally show up inrepparttar 108633 natural search results within a few days or a week.

I have used both of these services inrepparttar 108634 past but have found that paying them at leastrepparttar 108635 minimum amount allows me to view my stats online. It also allows me to choose different categories for my press release to be displayed in, giving my release a chance for wider coverage.

So using press releases can and is a very effective marketing tool that you can use for promoting your web site or affiliate products if done correctly.

By using press releases, I have been able to create a steady flow of targeted visitors to my web site and affiliate programs while generating dozens of back links to my web site.

Onwards…

This is how I personally do my own keyword research.

It’s actually simple, but does require a paid version of http://www.WordTracker.com.

For my most common use, I will userepparttar ‘Keyword Universe’ feature. Note… there are occasions whererepparttar 108623 best starting point isrepparttar 108624 ‘Comprehensive Search’. Start there if you have a very generic starting keyword.

Here’s what I do…

I input my starting keyword intorepparttar 108625 Keyword Universe search box. I then drill down inrepparttar 108626 results that appear below this box and findrepparttar 108627 top 3-5 terms that best fits what I’m looking for. I then click onrepparttar 108628 first of those 3-5. All terms that are actually search on are presented in a results column onrepparttar 108629 right hand side ofrepparttar 108630 screen. Beginning atrepparttar 108631 top, I navigate through each ofrepparttar 108632 resulting terms and add any to my list that I find will be potentially beneficial to me. Wordtracker allows you to put these keywords in a ‘basket’ in order to use them for additional research.

Once I’ve completed going though each list (for my 3-5 terms). I will continue torepparttar 108633 competition search function within Wordtracker. I use Google and Yahoo as my market gauge. These arerepparttar 108634 primary two search engines I generally focus on, so I want to know how I may fair in their indexes.

Now, most people stop here, I don’t. I userepparttar 108635 export to email function of Wordtracker and email myselfrepparttar 108636 results. Once I receiverepparttar 108637 email, I import them into a program called ‘Keyword Results Analyzer’ which can be found here: http://kra.ez-search-engine-optimization.com/.

Once I have these imported and sorted through this software, I extract any and all keywords with a KEI score over 10.

Now, I have a list of keywords to work with.

If you follow my method, you will consistently find yourself using keywords that haverepparttar 108638 greatest probability for being highly ranked inrepparttar 108639 search engines.
