Therefore
redeemed of
Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away. Thy watchmen shall lift up
voice; with
voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when
Lord shall bring again Zion.
Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for
Lord hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.
Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are
children of
desolate than
children of
married wife, saith
Lord. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace:
mountains and
hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all
trees of
field shall clap their hands.
For thus saith
Lord; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among
chief of
nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O Lord, save thy people,
remnant of Israel. Therefore they shall come and sing in
height of Zion, and shall flow together to
goodness of
Lord, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for
young of
flock and of
herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.
Then
heaven and
earth, and all that is therein, shall sing for Babylon: for
spoilers shall come unto her from
north, saith
Lord.
The ships of Tarshish did sing of thee in thy market: and thou wast replenished, and made very glorious in
midst of
seas. And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and
valley of Achor for a door of hope: and she shall sing there, as in
days of her youth, and as in
day when she came up out of
land of Egypt.
Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all
heart, O daughter of Jerusalem. The Lord thy God in
midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing. Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in
midst of thee, saith
Lord.

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and
prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that
foundations of
prison were shaken: and immediately all
doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.
That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even
Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to
glory of God. Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of
circumcision for
truth of God, to confirm
promises made unto
fathers: And that
Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among
Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.
What is it then? I will pray with
spirit, and I will pray with
understanding also: I will sing with
spirit, and I will sing with
understanding also.
Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to
Lord; Let
word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to
Lord. Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in
midst of
church will I sing praise unto thee.

And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take
book, and to open
seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And they sung as it were a new song before
throne, and before
four beasts, and
elders: and no man could learn that song but
hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from
earth. And they sing
song of Moses
servant of God, and
song of
Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
