I was a bit leery of introducing my daughter—the tomboy that she is—to this new set of playing cards. But to my surprise, she snatched up cards and said, “These are cool.” Amazed, startled, and a bit confused, I asked her, “What? You like them?” Her 10-year-old face lit up with a bright big smile and said, “Yes, they’re cool.” Then she ran out of room with them.
A week later, as I was preparing to write this review, I asked her for cards. She said, “Mom! You said I could have them. They’re in my room, in a binder.” Well, what can I say? They must have been a huge hit because only cards that go in her “precious” binder are cards that mean most to her.
