Rev 2:22, “Bed”,The outer garment worn by day by poor. Used to cover themselves and to sleep in. “Kill” literally. Here God threatens a great show of Force to put fear into other churches. Not everyone at this church was involved with Jezebel hense Rev 2:24 But unto you I say, and unto rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. 5.Sardis. Sardis was destroyed by an earthquake. Rev 3:4 “Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.” Only a few people were saved out of this church. 6.Philadelphia. Destroyed by Earthquake. Rebuilt This was church of love.(Gibbon.) The Turks call it Allah Shehr, "city of God"; or rather, "beautiful ('alah) city." In Rev 3:9, Jesus promissed them that He would make them, of synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; come and worship before their feet, and to know that Jesus has loved their Church . These next two verses are prophecy. Lets read. Rev 3:10 Because thou hast kept word of my patience, I also will keep thee from hour of temptation [future tense], which shall come [future tense] upon all [every nation] world, to try them that dwell [Live] upon earth. Rev 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold [maintain] that fast which thou hast [faith], that no man take [remove] thy crown. If it were not posiable to fall away from salvation, this statment would not be written. Philadelphia was and still is a model church, well spoken of by Christ. Still exist. 7.Laodicea.Destroyed.A lukewarm church. Rich monitarily but poor Spiritually. All Jesus could do was warn them. Discriptions of Christ in section 2. Eph 1:22 And hath put all things under his [Jesus] feet, and gave him [Jesus] to be head over all things to church, a.These things saith he that holdeth seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in midst of seven golden candlesticks. B.These things saith Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass. c.The morning star. D. These things saith he that hath seven Spirits of God, and seven stars. E.These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth. F.These things saith Amen, faithful and true witness, beginning of creation of God; [Col 1:15 Who is image of invisible God, firstborn of every creature.] Before we leave section 2. We must cover a popular intrepretation of The Seven Churches. If we look into hystory we can see a similarity between Churches and Church timelines. Churches ages. I wont get into times and dates for its most confuseing at times and it leades to division amoung many. But as for last two churches, Philadelphia and Laodicea, we see a resemblence between discriptions of Christ of two and events of last 200 years and today. If ever there was a time of lukewarmness in Church it is today. Zec 4:14 Then said he, These are two anointed ones, that stand by Lord of whole earth.[ The Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit] end section 2.

Continued from page 1 Dont let this be confuseing. The Seven Spirits of God are seven attributes of The Holy Spirit, whom is God. If you knoticed in C. These are working operations of Spirit unto us. The things God wishes us to be or have. For exampel without wisdon and Knowledge you cannot have understanding. We will cover seven churches later in this study. Patmos; One of Sporades. A small rugged island of Icarian Sea, part of Aegean; 20 miles S. of Samos, 24 W. of Asia Minor, 25 in circumference. The scene of John's banishment. The first section of Revelations deals with divinity of ,”The Christ”. Rev. 1:13 thru 16, gives us true representation of Jesus. Rev 1:13-15. And in midst of seven candlesticks one like unto Son of man, clothed with a garment down to foot, and girt about paps with a golden girdle.His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as sun shineth in his strength.[Ref. Dan_8:18, Dan_10:6, Dan_10:10.] Verses 17 and 18, Jesus introduces Himself to John.
