And residuals are what writing for profit is all about. 'Starting Your Own Business' first sawrepparttar light of day back in 1994, doubles in turnover every year, and (according to my publisher) should still be around in another ten years time. 'Starting an Internet Business at Home' falls into muchrepparttar 129133 category in that sales consistently increase year on year. Both of these titles have something in common: they were designed to last because they are both injected withrepparttar 129134 essential ingredient to guarantee multiple editions and consequently, bestseller status: longevity.

You will learn in 'Writing for Profit' how to inject your own work with longevity and how that will galvanize commissioning editors into offering you a contract for publication. To provide you with an example ofrepparttar 129135 power of this little-known ingredient: I have written 50 full length works of niche non-fiction of which 37 have been accepted and published.

You'd settle for two out of three as a batting average wouldn't you?

Footnote: Do not leave your rejections to gather dust in a desk drawer. Put them to work. I downsizedrepparttar 129136 13 that failed to cutrepparttar 129137 mustard into mini-volumes and 7 of these went on to be accepted and published as 'Thrifty Books' titles...

What a Gift

Written by Joyce C. Lock

There is a hurting world, out there, even more desperate than our situation may feel. And duringrepparttar times you have no new words to share, your 'already written seed' is still available to help others that have not yet caught up to where you are spiritually.

Do you realize when words come to you, faster than you can write them down, that those are as much God's words asrepparttar 129130 Bible? I only wish you did. I wish that you would, finally, truly believe that it is impossible for you to write something inferior ~ whenrepparttar 129131 Spirit is moving. God doesn't do anything inferior.

God has given you words, to share, that meet people where they are. You have a type of 'gift of healing' amidst a terribly wounded and cruel world. I just wish you could get a glimpse of how important you, your ministry, and your seed is ~ then stand up to Satan and not let him stop you fromrepparttar 129132 passions of your heart any longer.

Words, inspired by God, do not belong to you ~ but Him. Share them wherever there is a door of opportunity, as if your message, alone, can changerepparttar 129133 entire world ... because it can.

Viarepparttar 129134 net, your writings will be multiplied so many times that only God can countrepparttar 129135 number of lives that have been touched ... and how many lives they touch ... and how many lives they touch. In that ripple effect, you have been given a great opportunity to lead. And know this; it is impossible to out give God. What a gift!
