Seriously, after reading that scenario - can you honestly say that you could dorepparttar same thing?

The pivotal question you must always keep in mind when presenting your opportunity (no matter how amazing it may be) is "Could everyone I'm presenting to dorepparttar 116539 same thing I'm doing?" Ifrepparttar 116540 answer is no, you're doing something wrong. Your actions must always be easily duplicative!

People need to be able to relate to you, your product or service and they must know in their mind that they could dorepparttar 116541 same thing you're doing. Don't over-complicate things. Be yourself and have fun with it but make sure that your guests feel they can dorepparttar 116542 same thing you're doing.

Now, let's look at a different scenario with Jill ....

You arrive at Jill's home to find 9 other stay at home parents. Some you know, others you don't. Jill is dressed in slacks and a nice sweater. Her home is clean and tidy, yet comfortable. Jill does a great presentation, involving everyone. There's some laughter and a couple of questions over coffee, tea and some squares. Atrepparttar 116543 end ofrepparttar 116544 evening, Jill is delighted that 6 of her guests sawrepparttar 116545 same opportunity that she did!

Comparing these two presentations forrepparttar 116546 same opportunity, who would you enroll with - Susan or Jill? Of course you said, Jill. And why? Because you know you could dorepparttar 116547 same thing that Jill did. You could easily duplicate her actions. You also saw that 6 people signed up with her. You know that if Jill could get those results, so could you!

Everyone has a tendency to over-complicate things. Simplicity is always best. Regardless of what you are presenting to people, if you keep this one question in your mind at all times, I guarantee your results will skyrocket!

Is what I'm doing easily duplicative?

If you want to run your BUSINESS 'willy-nilly', or 'Gun Ho' - then expect eventual failure. However, with some applied thought, planning and foresight, you can develop your little, part-time home business into something which definitely has increased chances for success.

Apply time-management techniques, stick to time-tables and deadlines. Look out for 'Time Thieves'........ These are people or events which steal time from you, time which could be more effectively used elsewhere.

Example: Someone calls and asks when you can deliver a certain item, you reply "within two days", they are happy with your response BUT instead ofrepparttar conversation finishing, they go on to talk about weather, sports, families etc...

.....before you know it, a one minute call has turned into a 30 minute episode of everything except business. Not Good. This is time you could have efficiently used elsewhere.........they have stolen your time from you. Look out forrepparttar 116538 'Time Thieves' - they are everywhere. Spot them - deal with them.

Time Management is KEY to business planning. If your plan has a tight schedule to work to, then your management of ever-so valuable time will be very important. Plan your time carefully, effectively and efficiently......but do allow for some overspill and overlap.......it happens in any business!

One KEY findamental of business planning isrepparttar 116539 ability to be flexible and adaptible. Never assume that once you create your plan, that you must stick to it rigidly, but flexible when necessary, but not torepparttar 116540 detriment ofrepparttar 116541 your success. Remember, overspill and overlap work both sides ofrepparttar 116542 same coin.

PLAN. Plan carefully, plan honestly, plan realistically. But you must plan.

Final thought. Think long and hard aboutrepparttar 116543 'company / business objective' andrepparttar 116544 'Customer Mission Statement'. Put toghether a short (two - three sentences) paragraph for each, which clearly defines..... A). What your business is all about. B). What your customers can expect from your business.

Choserepparttar 116545 words carefully, put into 2-3 sentences everything that encapsulates both statements totally and work to these statements closely.

Plan for success, because without planning, you will fail.
