David, unable to buildrepparttar Temple, nevertheless did everything he possibly could in preparing for it. He didn't just pray about it and hope that someone else would do something! And setting such a sterling example, David used it as a golden opportunity to askrepparttar 149400 nation to follow his lead. The rulers and people responded and found transcendent joy in their generosity! (1 Chron. 29:2,6).

It took Haggai and Zechariah to challengerepparttar 149401 Jewish leaders of their day to quit making excuses and buildrepparttar 149402 Temple. God had restored Judah to Zion, so why wasn't it time for Him to also be invited Home?

Note that those Jews made aliyah to Israel and builtrepparttar 149403 Temple without a Messiah! And forrepparttar 149404 first 22 yearsrepparttar 149405 Temple and sacrificial system was working WITHOUT THE ASHES OF THE RED HEIFER!

Israel and world Jewry's inaction concerningrepparttar 149406 Temple is without excuse! Even for those who would ignore biblical history and demand that we first become ritually pure, there's no reason for failing to prepare for that glorious day! It's incumbent uponrepparttar 149407 Chief Rabbinate and Israeli government to do so!

Israel must make a public call and international issue forrepparttar 149408 pope to RESTORE THE TEMPLE TREASURES TO JERUSALEM THAT ARE HID IN THE VATICAN'S VAULTS!

Thankfully, repparttar 149409 Temple Mount Faithful, repparttar 149410 Temple Institute and Yeshiva Ateret Cohanim have begunrepparttar 149411 process. As Abraham Lincoln stated: "I will prepare andrepparttar 149412 opportunity will present itself."

Christian cannibals?

The next time you're "out for blood" because you're angry and upset, you'd do well to rememberrepparttar only "flesh and blood" we're offered - during our course of conversion - is that of Jesus Christ! He grossed out quite a few of His followers when He shared that tidbit of information with them. They couldn't stomach it. Jesus' claim to berepparttar 149399 Bread of Life, repparttar 149400 Manna from Heaven, was a little hard to swallow. But He meant that we're to feast upon His life-giving words. The scriptures are to sustain us, daily, in this wilderness adventure (John 6:41-69).

You are what you eat. We're to grow more Christ-like and less contentious: "endeavoring to keeprepparttar 149401 unity ofrepparttar 149402 Spirit inrepparttar 149403 bond of peace... till we all come torepparttar 149404 unity ofrepparttar 149405 faith and ofrepparttar 149406 knowledge ofrepparttar 149407 Son of God, to a perfect (mature) man, (measuring up to)repparttar 149408 stature ofrepparttar 149409 fullness of Christ..."(Ephesians 4:2,3,13).

We're to stop picking on one another, pull together as Christian brethren, and resist Satan's attempts to pull us apart. It'srepparttar 149410 old ploy of divide and conquer. He's revealed asrepparttar 149411 one who works up this ungodly appetite: "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversaryrepparttar 149412 devil (NOTrepparttar 149413 brethren!) walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8).

Instead of falling prey to our enemy - going at each other's throats - let's make sure we're consumed with our zeal for God's Work (John 2:17).

There's some kosher food for thought!
